Out in the mountains there is magical land where you never grow old, the breakfast burritos are so big that you can live on ice cream and beer for the rest of the day, you can go from the square dance to the country band show to the burlesque show to the dance party to the swimming hole, and you’ll see about 20 old friends from all over the state in under 48 hours. taken in McCarthy, Alaska by @coyote.starlight

Me and Boot, Whiskey River, 2009.

Y’all, I just can’t give anymore online epitaphs. This year has been a fucking grief pileup. The amount of fun memories is immense and this shit doesn’t feel real. Rest easy, Boot. by @coyote.starlight

Today, I’ve spent 39 years as an earthling! I feel super loved and sappy and magical. I’m in Fairbanks for one more day doing my favorite things and seeing people and having an evening sauna. Catch me if you can! 💜💗💜 by @coyote.starlight
