I Cracked LEGO Dr Doom?? 🤯

#lego #marvel #doom

Thanks lego for sending these doomsday sets over early to crack. I promise I won't crack anymore minifigures (on purpose 😉)

Bricklink Designer Program Series 9

The Train fans rejoice! Thanks to LEGO but sending this set over to showcase, and allowing Maria to bring us another beautiful design that fits into the already established universe. It could certainly sit right down the tracks from the Old Train Engine Shed! First, I want to start out with the color palette: sand blue and nougat/medium masonry bricks. Wow, I did not know I needed this in my life! This combination is so pleasing to the eye and works so well. The slender design also allows for some space saving aspects which is helpful when you consider our ever growing collections.

Regarding the build process, it was SUPER enjoyable throughout with so many tiny details. Now I’ll admit the tiny details are both the main pro and con of this build. So many unique aspects that I deeply enjoyed, but if I had a dollar for every time I dropped a small, tiny piece on the ground, I would have a LOT of dollars! But the finished product speaks for itself.

Stickers are a-plenty but not invasive by any means. The long, skinny caution stickers are a struggle as always but nothing this AFOL can’t handle! The stickers off some fun Easter eggs like the set number, LEGO bar lengths, and a reference to the designers name Mind The Brick! And how about that adorable little truck?? That build was an unexpected treat and brought me back to the Speed Champ simplistic nature that accomplishes exactly what it needs to.

Interested in this BDP set? It goes out for preorder October 6th at 8AM PST for $219.99 with 2,252 pieces and 7 minifigures. Also, don’t forget it has a LOT of train accessories to enjoy!

Kid Goku is coming November 2026* to LEGO!

For $180, the Dragon Ball Shenron & Goku will be dropping worldwide. The main thing I see is what should have been used for Nightcrawler with the printing waist so he didn't have the blue belly! Thankfully they did that here and Goku looks great with his belt straps colored properly.

How about that hair mold? Sooo clean. My only notes are the arms needing printing. It's a $180 set with 1 minifigure...go the extra mile.

So how did LEGO do??

The Truth Is Out There.

But the LEGO IDEAS X-Files set is right here! And while the build is an amazing experience, full of fun Easter eggs for the most dedicated X-Files fans, the minifigures also have some new additions. Albeit some of them are missing some basic details that I would have loved to see!

Fox Mulder falls prey to Peter Parker syndrome so that needed to be fixed asap! While Dana Scully is PERFECT! Thee new hair mold and face print are literal peak. Fox's office kind of being its own character is certainly a fun inclusion in this list. Walter Skinner was interesting as he wasn't fully bald until later series so added the Alfred cap to him. Cancer Man desperately needed a hair upgrade so I grabbed Jin Gordon's and it's perfect!

Alex Krycek, Mr. X, the Grey Alien and Flukeman were al pretty top and didn't really need any upgrades!

But have YOU seen X-Files?? Let me know 👇🏻

Is LEGO Shrek CHOPPED? 🤯

On September 1st LEGO is releasing the first ever Shrek collectible minifigure series! There's a ton of heat in here but also some bold choices💀. Overall this is a GREAT series but I still have some questions!

But what do you think?
