A little getaway to Paternoster, one of the oldest fishing villages on the West Coast of South Africa. Two hours drive from Cape Town.

🔸Lunch @Wolfgat where chef & forager Kobus van der Merwe creates small & thoughtful plates that celebrate what the ocean and fynbos has to offer this season. A culinary experience with a view.

🔸We stayed in one of the cute whitewashed cottages by the sea called Flamink (airbnb)

The iconic Swartberg Pass is considered one of the most beautiful mountain passes in the world. Sheer, gravity-defying cliff faces tower over hairpin bends and precarious drop-offs. UNESCO world heritage since 2004. What a treat to drive again… now w my Amsterdam neighbor Tineke.
