New post to mark the end of summer and start of Fall and show you that we are still alive 😅
A quick project to kick off the cozy season and what's better than a warm coloured tote bag to stroll around the city?
I initially meant to make a carousel inspired by one of the latest posts of @tabubilgirl but IG updated and it didn't upload any picture so I had to make a reel🙄 hope you like it although it's not strictly related to fabrics 😊

We got this request for nice quality red wool and wool grosgrain from a friend of one of our English clients who took some wool ribbon from us.

These past months went by so busy we didn't even have time to post! Here's to you a new reel, featuring our 100% cotton muslin with embroidered flounces on both edges! Perfect for Regency era dresses, fancy petticoats or you have simply cut the embroidered part to enrich a chemise, a shirt, cuffs or whatever your creative minds come up with!

March went by so busy we didn't even update our IG page! 😱
Here's to you in a few seconds what it actually took quite a few weeks to put together a collection of old and expired fabric samples and swatches we didn't want to simply throw away. Luckily one of our lovely clients needed them for her classes and gently accepted to save these samples from the dustbin.
Each scrap of fabric has a story, a memory, and a special feeling, we are very happy that these small pieces of fabric keep serving the cause of bringing knowledge to future costumers amd designers!

2025 is ending, and I just realised that we didn't post that much, therefore the usual besttwelve format doesn't fit this year's review.
We opted for a selection of the highlights we loved the most:
♡ We got to finally see fabrics from your previous orders turned into beautiful costumes. A special thanks to @izabelapriorattire who used our yellow moiré for making her gown for the ball she hosts 🙏❤️
♡ Some of you worn your costumes for Venice Carnival, taking us virtually there!🙏😍 @needleworkinghistory

♡ This year was definitely a Moiré kind of year! We had the opportunity to provide you with beautiful Black silk blend moiré and later a cotton blend just as nicer!🖤🩶
♡ A few new clients joined us, and we are very thankful for your trust in us.❣️
♡ A last minute order "brought" our fabric also to Jane Austen Festival at Bath!📖
♡ We had once again the pleasure to provide beautiful fabrics for brides. A special thanks to the one and only @giuliaorsidesigner who sewed the perfect wedding dress for her dear cousin, in a lovely mauve shade 🩷💜
And thanks to @mila_atelier_couture for choosing italian quality fabrics for her brides in Usa 🙏🤍
♡ We planned to have more interviews this year, but somehow me managed to share only the one we did with @simone.pietro.claudio and it was a lovely one! ( Scroll back and read it if you haven't yet 😉)
♡ We had fun working with a young fashion talent helping him construct his capsule collection. Thank you @matiastudiomt 🙏🧵
♡ Silk tulle left its mark this year, with its incredibly soft texture. You loved it so much!!
♡ @spiceandstitch really challenged us with the most extraordinary requests, from chiffon, to lace trimmings to wool felt! It was a fun ride!😅
♡ Incredibly, I managed to join the Fallforcostume2025 hosted by the @sew_through_time posting regularly every day for 31 days🥴
♡ Lots of orders from old and new clients!🎁
♡ Last but not least, we added a beautiful wool grosgrain ribbon to our finds!🎀

Lots of ups and downs in-between as everyone else, but still thankful for our lovely community! 🙏🙏
