Chardonnay in the New World represents a shift in perspective from tradition-bound interpretations to a more exploratory, site-driven approach, where winemakers across regions like California, Australia, and beyond have redefined what the grape can be outside the conventions of the Old World. While early New World styles often emphasized immediacy and richness, a growing number of producers are now embracing restraint, structure, and extended élevage, crafting wines that are increasingly capable of aging and evolving with time.

Almost two months ago @outwardwines hosted this crew from Colorado. Perpetual inspiration comes over me with each bottle I open. They are committed to their region, relentless attention to detail, endless creativity and driven by a simple joy of doing what they love with the person they love. Thank you, I’m lucky to work with people like you. taken in Outward Wines by @craftwinesco

The best part of working with @craftwinesco (besides his snarky commentary 🤪) is getting to meet and showcase epic winemakers when they are in town.

Tonight both Annette and @travelingmerciesbar get the pleasure of hosting @emmewines with a by the glass take over. The bonus?! Rosalind, the woman behind the wines, will be floating around for those of you that like to talk shop 💪🏼 .

We will be pouring Rosalind’s Chardonnay/Colombard, Muscat Vert, Grenache & Mourvedre and Pink Lemonade ✌️

Come grab a glass and snack or heck, make it a full night! taken in Annette by @craftwinesco
