With a broken heart, it pains me to share that on Friday we had to say goodbye to Zara (or as the kids renamed her over the last four years, “Zaza”). A day I knew would come eventually but one I never wanted to believe actually would.

12 years sure as hell wasn’t long enough with my girl but it truly was the best 12 years. If you know me personally or even have just been following me for a while you know that I love dogs, but my Zara, she was more than a dog + obsessed would be an understatement. She was my first baby, my best friend, essentially the entire theme of our wedding and rarely not by my side. She was my bright light on some of my darkest days.

It still doesn’t feel real that my sidekick isn’t here to lay by my side every night (yes she slept in our king size bed), be my sound machine or request her heater be turned on in the middle of summer (IYKYK). I find peace in knowing she’s not in pain, we loved her hard for 12 amazing years + will continue loving her + talking about her. I’m forever grateful that the universe landed us together.

You will always be the goodest good girl my Zara babe, thank you for letting us love you + for loving us right back.

Until we meet again💔.

You all know I love @charm.city.links for their array of beautiful jewelry so when they shared this limited paracord drop I had to snag one 🫰🏻. I guarantee if you haven’t seen paracord bracelets around yet, you’ll be seeing a whole lot of them soon.

This green fit exactly what I was looking for to add a pop of Fall to my stack.

They have a whole bunch of colors but this is a limited drop, so if you’re looking to snag one DM @charm.city.links on IG to reserve the color + initial you’d like! You can also stop in their Catonsville location to catch a glimpse of them IRL before they’re gone!

Happy Fall 🤍⚡️!

Forever by my side 🪽Rest easy, Dad. 🤍

If you knew him, you knew his heart. He was the dad always at the ready with a dad joke. He made people feel welcome, he made them laugh + he made them feel loved.

He was the person I’d call whenever I needed advice or an answer to just about anything. He taught me to believe in myself, to question things that didn’t seem right, to always stand up for what I believed in + most importantly, that you don’t need to be the loudest person in the room to make an impact.

He was the very best Pop Pop to Brooks + Lennon. They absolutely adored him + he adored them right back. He was always the first to jump in before I even had to ask for help, always ready to play, make them laugh, or simply be there. They were so lucky to have a Pop Pop who loved them as deeply as he did.

Dad, I am so proud to be your daughter. Thank you for showing me how to live with kindness, love deeply + never stop believing in myself.

This still doesn’t feel real, like I should wake up + this was all just some terrible dream. Until we meet again, I love you forever Dad🪽07.09.26 by @cravingcurrently

You all know I’m a Hobo girlie through and through. Earlier this month I checked out their new flagship location in Downtown Annapolis and it was everything you could imagine and more. The natural light pours in from not only the front windows but as you make your way through the entire store. I tried on so many bags but finally decided on one of their latest releases, the Darling in Whiskey. Once I added a bag charm, there was no changing my mind. 🤌🏻 If you haven’t been to their newest location, definitely check it out. Same amazing Hobo, just up Main Street in Annapolis!
