Den danske billedkunstner Cathrine Raben Davidsen har gennem hele sin praksis været optaget af eksistentielle spørgsmål om liv, død og forandring. Hun undersøger menneskets forbindelser – både til hinanden og til andre levende væsener – og trækker på både kunsthistorie, mytologi, videnskab, religion og personlige erfaringer.

@cathrinerabendavidsen arbejder på tværs af medier og uden traditionelle skel mellem kunstformer. Hun arbejder primært med maleri, tegning, grafik og keramik, men har også skabt scenografi og kostumer for Den Kongelige Ballet samt arbejdet med design og kunstnerbøger.

Cathrine Raben Davidsen (f. 1972) er født og baseret i København og uddannet fra Det Kongelige Danske Kunstakademi. Hendes værker er repræsenteret i blandt andet Statens Museum for Kunst, Kunsten Museum of Modern Art Aalborg, Trapholt og Horsens Kunstmuseum samt i Ny Carlsbergfondets og Statens Kunstfonds samlinger.

Til @kunstsalonencom’s kommende SKOVSHOVED SALON på @pcarlpetersens kollegium viser hun en række helt nye lågkrukker, monoprints og originale tegninger.
