I’ve been watching the Timber Yard take shape over the past year or two, bookending the larger Temple Quarter development, it sits very comfortably in its context. I really love the arched parapets and those fluted panels in that lovely stone. These were taken a few months ago and I believe it’s all finished now - a new addition to Bristol’s forever changing skyline!

Another one from Stratford, Stratford One which I believe to be student accommodation.

The DLR gliding through the foreground really makes the shot. I still remember how insanely windy it was; my old tripod refused to stay still, so getting a sharp image was an absolute mission 😂

Throwing back to the start of the year when me and some friends stayed in these incredible little beach huts on a remote island in the Philippines 😍

Manhattan Loft Gardens - Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM)

This tower completely caught me by surprise the first time I visited. Having spent most of my adolescence in London, I thought I’d seen every notable high-rise the city had to offer.

Then, from a rooftop bar, I spotted what appeared to be two razor-sharp planes slicing into the sky, an optical illusion that shifts as you move around it. A brilliant piece of architectural composition…

RONDO Stratford - Love the windows and balconies on these towers, paired with this brick it creates such a refreshing facade!

Stafford Yard - @ecewestworks

A rare calm evening last summer where the light was dreamy and the sky put on a real show!

Always a pleasure documenting work like this - hopefully will get plenty of good opportunities for these kinds of shoots this summer.

This tiled facade was pretty epic. The texture, the pattern, and the gradient effect gave it so much depth — one of those details that properly rewards a closer look.

Very cool bus station from Utrecht. Seeing this at the start of the morning commute would make the day feel slightly less offensive.

Visited the V&A Storehouse last weekend - missed the V&A East opening, but the Storehouse held its own. Was fascinating reading about Robin Hood Gardens and seeing the last remaining fragments of it hung from the steel frame

Burrell Collection John McAslan + Partners

The Burrell Collection, originally designed by Barry Gasson, John Meunier and Brit Andresen, and later refurbished by John McAslan + Partners. An award-winning beast of a building that sat perfectly in the grey weather that day. Even better, the collection is free to visit, so wandering through spaces filled with artefacts from across history felt like a bit of a steal.

Utrecht’s Dom Tower making sure the skyline doesn’t get too comfortable. A proper landmark, and one of those buildings that seems to anchor the whole city around it.
