After completing CLTRE’s 12-week EveryDay Creative Accelerator, our founders took the stage to share their businesses, tell their stories, and pitch for seed funding to help move their ideas forward.

This night was bigger than a pitch competition. It was a celebration of creativity, entrepreneurship, community, and what is possible when founders have access to the knowledge, relationships, resources, and capital they need to grow.

This month, we're diving into The Art of War by Sun Tzu with Jamie Schulze, Executive Director of the Southwestern Association for Indian Arts (SWAIA).

Together we'll explore how the book's timeless ideas about strategy, leadership, and decision-making show up in running an organization and leading through change.

Haven't read the book? No problem.

We’re so proud of the apprentices who just completed our Northern New Mexico Climate Justice Leadership Development Program!

These young leaders from the 8 Northern Pueblos area concluded 6 months of hands-on apprenticeships with @tewawomenunited, Tesuque Pueblo, and the @nmenvironmentdepartment as well as environmental stewardship training from @idpiunm! Join us in congratulating them 🥳

Thank you to everyone who joined us last night for Happenings at the Hub, featuring the Santa Fe Office of Economic Development’s Books Behind the Business session at the New Mexico Innovation Hub.

OED Director Johanna Nelson led a thoughtful conversation with David Perez, founder of the New Mexico Innovation Hub, exploring insights from "Let My People Go Surfing: The Education of a Reluctant Businessman" by Patagonia founder Yvon Chouinard.

David shared insights into how Yvon Chouinard built Patagonia around strong values and principles, including childcare, paternity and maternity leave, environmental stewardship, and creating a company culture rooted in purpose. He also emphasized Patagonia’s deep commitment to giving back to the environment they love so much.

The audience asked great questions, sparking a lively conversation about how businesses can be successful while also creating a positive impact in the Santa Fe community.
