The Willy Wonka Party Reveal is here! Thank you so much for the love shown for the party prep process. I made over 60 different #DIYS for this celebration. The birthday party was for all four of our kids hence the different numbers throughout the decoration table. They all had personalized candy bars too 🥰🎉

If you are new here, I turn everyday items into over-the-top party decor for busy parents… and I even made a free guide to help you do this too-link in bio 👀🎉

My goal has always been to inspire you to get creative in whatever way feels right for you; whether that’s exploring a local spot, trying out a DIY I’ve shared, or making your party planning more intentional with my tips. I want to encourage you to think outside the box!

For our Super 7 Pop Star Party, I was determined to try that viral hanging paper chain ceiling trend. Once I started, I realized it just wasn’t going to work in our space or my sanity 😬😅.

So I had to pivot!

I wrapped the chains around our chandelier, carried them over to the playroom entrance aka the VIP Lounge and added disco balls to give it that full pop star moment. And it worked!

Somehow the idea I thought was failing turned into one of my favorite parts of the setup. Sometimes the vision doesn’t work exactly how you imagined it.

You pivot. You play with it. And somehow us mamas always make it work. What do you think of this setup?

Listen mama… we are NOT buying it. We’re making it!

This giant cassette started with an old cardboard box and a bunch of things I already had around the house like peanut container lids, bottle caps, markers, paint and a few star cutouts.

I found a little inspiration, freehanded the rest, added all the bright colors because obviously it needed to give POP STAR… and somehow a pile of recycled materials turned into one of my favorite pieces from the party.

No fancy supplies. No perfect template. Just use what you have, keep playing with it, and make the magic yourself. 💕

What do you think of this DIY? Would you try this DIY👀?

For this Devil Wears Prada party, I wanted every little piece to feel like it belonged in the same world. From the 3D-printed heel and handbags to the florals, food, and all those little fashion-inspired touches in between.

Some details I made myself. Some I brought in talented creatives to help bring to life. And some were great finds that just fit the vision perfectly-hello pearls and magazines 👀.

9 hours later… and I still think it was worth it. Sometimes the party details in my head doesn’t exist yet, so I have to create it.

Creating with Adrian means we’re making the details, adding the personality, and having a little fun along the way. And I did just that with this Devil Wears Prada Party Theme. Is it chic or what?!

My @bambulab_official printer is my party bestie! What do you think of 3D Print?

Gird your loins! I threw the ultimate The Devil Wears Prada going-away party for my amazing sister-in-law, and she deserved nothing less than absolute perfection.

Everything came together so beautifully to make this celebration unforgettable ✨

The Food: A massive thank you to @olivebranchgrazingco for the most stunning, delicious grazing board. She worked incredibly fast, and every bite was so tasty. I added cutout magazine pages to give it that extra high-fashion edge!

The Florals: @blissxca absolutely knocked it out of the park with a custom, movie-themed arrangement that completely set the tone and tied the whole room together.

The Treats: Can we talk about these gorgeous cupcake bouquets? @walmart is truly bringing high-end bakery options at affordable prices only $19.95, and everyone was amazed by how beautiful and scrumptious they were!

The Decor: Made by yours truly! I 3D-printed with my @bambulab_official miniature shoes and purses, and styled the space with old magazines, sequin fabrics, flowers, photos, and pearls.
If it wasn’t chic, it didn’t make the cut.

I am so incredibly thankful for the friends who stepped in to help make this night so fabulous. Such a great celebration celebrating one of my favorite people ❤️ by @creatingwithadrian

You can’t have a Devil Wears Prada party without the infamous heel. So of course, I had to 3D print one using my @bambulab_official . And when I say this took five hours to print… I mean five HOURS.

But seeing it come together and adding it to the party made every minute worth it. These are the details that make a theme come to life.

Do you think it was worth the wait?

Let’s be honest when you’re hosting a party at home, you’re usually working with the room you’ve got. The toys, the clutter, the awkward layout, the furniture you can’t move… all of it 😬

Our playroom definitely wasn’t giving VIP Pop Star Lounge at first. But with a little creativity, some bold decor, and a willingness to look at the space differently, I made it work.

You don’t always need a blank canvas, a huge venue, or the “perfect” room to create something special. Sometimes you just have to work with what you’ve got!

What space in your home would you transform for your next celebration? What do think of this transformation?

SAVE this for the next time you’re planning a party at home!

Our Pop Star Party was AH-MAZING! And I’d say a big part of the magic was the immersive décor I created to make guests feel like they had stepped inside their very own Pop Star world.

From the moment they arrived, I wanted them to be swept into a backstage VIP experience filled with all the fun, bold, pop-star energy.

Here’s a look at the birthday décor that helped bring the experience to life… Save this for future birthday party decor inspiration ➡️

Cassette Tape 📼 We had to bring in a few old-school music touches to the party! This little detail was the perfect throwback addition to our Pop Star experience. It was made from my fave DIY material cardboard

CD 💿 another throwback I couldn’t resist made from cardboard. So simple but truly made a fun impact. Her CD had to be titled Super 7 because it was her 7th birthday duhhhh

DIY Streamers 🎉 I took a part a few streamers and scattered the pieces throughout the wall to create a BIG moment. Truly a huge wow-factor and brought in that pop star feel

Paper-chain Chandelier 💡I made this paper chain complete with disco balls to bring our chandelier to life

Boombox 🎶 What’s a pop start birthday party without a boombox?! I turned a cardboard box into a statement piece for sure 👀

Microphone Stand 🎤 What’s pop star party without a microphone?! Thanks to toilet paper and gift wrapper rolls this came to life

CD Covers 💿 I made a handful of album covers featuring our daughter. It was so fun seeing her face on a CD and the guests loved this sweet, personalized addition

Coloring pages 📃 I always make coloring and activity pages based on my kids and their party theme. Such a fun way to keep everyone busy

VIP Name Tags 🏷️ all the guests had to get passes to enter the VIP lounge experience. Thanks to my @bambulab_official 3D printer it was possible 🙌🏽

Paper-chain ✨ I made another to be the entryway to the VIP lounge experience.

Music Notes Cake Topper 🎵 Another @bambulab_official print that was perfect for our cupcakes

Mini Tape Cassettes 📼 These were the perfect addition to our table decor. Another @bambulab_official by @creatingwithadrian
