Is life insurance really a waste of money ?

What if it could help pay off your mortgage, replace your income, provide financial support if you get seriously ill, and leave your family tax-free money?

Life insurance in Canada can do more than you think. The right policy can protect you while you’re alive and the people you love when you’re gone.

Book a FREE session using the link in my bio to learn how.

One day, he’ll be too big to stand beside me in the kitchen, asking to help. ❤️

For now, we’re making juice, memories and little habits that I hope he’ll carry for a lifetime.

As a Nigerian mum raising my family in Canada, I want a wealthy and healthy home

And today’s little kitchen moments were made easier with our @ninjakitchencanada

You're losing money just for having a bank account in Canada. Monthly maintenance fees, ATM fees, transaction fees, they add up quietly, month after month.

Digital banks usually charge fewer fees, and my favourite right now is Wealthsimple: $0 monthly maintenance fee, unlimited free Interac e-Transfers, interest on your chequing account, and you can invest in the same app.

Don't close your account, just look elsewhere.

New to Wealthsimple? Comment SIMPLE and I'll send you the link, you get $25 with my referral code.

I understand that not everyone can actually do what I did. Not everyone has some comfort money they keep aside for things like this. But some of the decisions we make are emotional and this is one of those ones ….sometimes we place the burden on ourselves by ourselves. If you can make it light, please do. by @creative_chioma

The 3 money mistakes new parents make in their first year of parenthood 👇

1. Emotional spending
Buying everything your baby needs and even things they don't because you want to give them the best, only to struggle with other bills.

2. Underestimating the cost of raising a child
Diapers, childcare, and daily essentials add up quickly. Before you know it, there's little left to save for your child's future.

3. Forgetting to protect them
You plan for your baby's needs, but have you thought about how your family would cope financially if you could no longer earn an income?

Having a child changes everything, including how you need to plan your finances.

Thinking about how to start investing in Canada? Start with your TFSA. There’s no TFSA minimum deposit, and you can open one from your phone. If you’re new to Canada, your TFSA contribution room starts the year you became a resident.
