Depending on which way each arrow points we are able to gain deeper insight into ourselves. In general Right facing -> signifies more passive, fluid energy that flows with life. While Left facing <- are more structured and precise. PS I love including this in my readings! It’s definitely been a labor of love curating playlists for each of the Human Design energy types but also something I’ve wanted to do for a while. THE ART OF BEING “TOO SENSITIVE” Throughout my life I’ve always been told that I am “too sensitive” and I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately. With everything going on in the world small tasks like checking Instagram, replying to an email or reading the news can feel like too much for me. But the truth is that I am learning (now....in my 30s) that this sensitivity is actually a great strength of mine. I’ve been reading Untamed by @glennondoyle (highly recommend) and there is this sentence that really struck me where she talks about exactly this. She says “The opposite of sensitive is not brave. It’s not brave to refuse to pay attention, to refuse to notice, to refuse to feel and know and imagine.” Highly sensitive people like myself have been conditioned throughout their lives that this sensitivity is bad or weak or “overly emotional.”

Let’s embrace the power and strength that comes with this sensitive awareness. Let’s recondition that it is NOT a weakness to repress and push down and act like we don’t care at all or that we don’t feel anything (guilty 👋). Sensitivity is something to be able to shout from the rooftops, communicate openly and lead with in our interactions.

In Human Design, we are all designed to be sensitive. Projectors are very in tune with others emotions and tend to “feel everything” very deeply. Those with open emotional solar plexus as well tend to feel others and are often HSP. Even our emotionally defined people experience their own emotions in a huge way and often are labeled as too sensitive or too emotional. Which are you???

HUMAN DESIGN AND SEX! One of the first things I researched while studying Human Design was how sex and sexuality are reflected in our designs. Because I am a Scorpio after all! PS was anyone else obsessed with the the car scene in Titanic in the 90s???

The truth is how we each identify and process sex is wildly different for everyone. For concise Instagram purposes, I’ll make it pretty simple. There are three main types of circuitry that influence our sexual preferences and unique makeup. Pull up your chart and see if you have any of the Gates listed activated (circled) in your chart to see what you are!

INDIVIDUAL - 39, 55 ,22 ,12 - You are The Romantic! IE The writers, poets, musicians who deeply romanticize love. You love words and are deeply auditory.

TRIBAL - 19, 49, 37, 40 - You are The Life Partner - This one is all about safety and security, marriage & partnership and stability in your romantic endeavors.

COLLECTIVE - 41, 30, 36, 35 - You are The Experimentalist - This one is all about sexual experimentation and experiences. Sex without attachment is more commonly enjoyed if you are this type.

Feel all the feels //// This message came to me in meditation today. I think sometimes it’s easier to resist the urge to dive deep and instead move quickly from task to task without taking a minute to feel.

It’s ok to allow yourself the space to feel sad, angry, upset during this time of uncertainty. It’s also ok to feel happy, peaceful, content, and truly enjoying the slower pace of life. I have definitely felt both.
In Human Design our emotions reside in the Solar Plexus energy center. It’s the bottom right triangle in your chart. Around 50% of the population have a defined Solar Plexus or what we call Emotional Authority. (Swipe to the next slide to see what this looks like) With Emotional Authority the way you best make decisions is actually to feel deep into those feelings, ride the emotional highs and lows, and then come to a decision from a neutral place. It takes TIME, contemplation and patience. Frida Kahlo, Kurt Cobain and Obama all have emotional authority!

The other 50% of the population have an open or white Emotional Center (swipe to the 3rd slide to see what it looks like ). They will actually take on and amplify the emotions of those around them. So when making decisions it’s important to differentiate between what is actually yours vs what may be coming from someone around you! Maybe you are feeling upset one day because your partner is upset, or you read a sad Instagram post and feel sad for a few hours. Look at the people around you that might be affecting how you are feeling. Are you holding on to something that isn’t even yours?
It’s important to recognize that every person processes their emotions differently. But honoring and allowing those feelings is truly the key for everyone. Hope this resonates!! 📷 @gabbois ✨💕✨ .

DIVING DEEP /// FIND YOUR GIFTS /// 🌝 ✨Lately I’ve been using Human Design to help people identify their innate gifts and talents. I can’t think of a better moment to turn inward and align with the highest expression of ourselves than the present. The truth is that when asked, most people aren’t able to come up with many of their gifts off hand. So take a minute and think about what you are really good at, what comes naturally to you? What do people come to you for? It can be small things like recipes or design advice (two of mine!) or larger like career advice, relationship advice.
In what ways are people seeing and recognizing what you have to offer?

We can also dive into our HD chart to help identify these special unique gifts that we’ve come to share. Gates and Channels that you have activated, (check out the next slide to see what an activated Gate/Channel looks like) are things you are here to express in a consistent way, gifts you have to share, and ways you are deeply tapped in. Maybe you have the energy for starting things (Gate 53) or the energy for completing things (Gate 42) maybe you have both (how lucky!!). Maybe you are the idea person that everyone turns to (Gate 11). Maybe you’re the peacekeeper in your friend group (Gate 37).
