Behind the scenes at Elkana Safaris Lodge, a stunning property in the heart of Namibia. Designed by Oliver Quarmby and built by @metallum.com.na , the floor-to-ceiling windows wrap the whole property and give you the feeling of floating between the landscape.

Some of my favourite work happens in the in-between moments: waiting for the right shadow, resetting a shot for the fifth time, watching a space change completely once the sun drops.

This is the part nobody sees in the final gallery, but it’s where all of it actually gets made.

Grateful Elkana trusted me with this one.
