— Weaving Traditional Medicine Pouches for Protection and Prayer 🪶

We warmly welcome you to join us for a ceremonial evening in collaboration with the Earth, Community, and Creator.

Together, in sacred circle, we will weave our prayers and intentions into the creation of our pouch. You will be guided in the hand sewing technique ~ stitching two pieces of leather together using sinew and creating it as a necklace for protective wearing. We will have abalone charm embellishments and sacred allies to add to your pouches through ceremony. You are also welcome to bring your allies to charge on the altar and add into your pouch once it is created.

Thank you, @myfriendsclub.pottery @courtney.l.russell, for such a fun afternoon playing with clay and introducing us to the foundations of handbuilding. 🤍

It was such a beautiful reminder of the importance of play—and how healing and fulfilling it can be to get a little messy and create something with our hands.

We can’t wait to have @courtney.l.russell back for another Creative Table! And thank you to everyone who joined us. The energy in the space was so special, and every single creation was perfect.

August Creative Table announcement coming very soon. ✨🫶🏻 taken in Ojai, California by @creativetable_ojai

last month’s Creative Table was an Introduction to Woodworking workshop led by Connor Hayes

a noisy, messy, educational, deeply joyful afternoon — and somehow we all successfully made planter boxes to take home !!!

I already can’t wait to have Connor back to lead more workshops with us. he’s incredibly talented and such a thoughtful facilitator.

if you’d like to be added to my contact list for future workshops, comment below or send me a message — so many fun things are in store

Film snippets from February’s Creative Table, led by me🤍

Together, we stepped into the Lunar New Year with intention—moving through meditation, release, and visioning what’s ready to emerge.

We wrote, we let go, we imagined, and we created—each person leaving with something tangible to carry their vision forward.

It was such a special day—one that left me feeling full, inspired, and energized to continue bringing people together to create, connect, and grow.

A quote I’ve been holding close
“the antidote to evil is creativity”

I return to this often. Creation is medicine. It’s how we process, transform, and imagine new worlds into being.

The Creative Table is something I feel so honored to have brought to life. I’m endlessly grateful to be building this space together—and I can’t wait to see who joins us next 🌙✨ taken in Ojai, California by @creativetable_ojai

The Creative Table was born from my long-time desire to cultivate intentional gatherings rooted in mutual learning, creation, expansion, and connection.

I feel endlessly grateful to be surrounded by humans who inspire me — So I created a space where the meaningful, beautiful work my friends are bringing into the world can be shared, experienced, and celebrated together. Each month we explore something new: from plant dyeing (like our amazing January indigo workshop with @RootedBotanics), to somatic visualization and vision board crafting, to creating Flower Essences, woodworking, bouquet making, and more. Every gathering is grounded in play, creativity, intention, and community.

Let’s gently rebel against a disconnected and discouraged world. We have so much to learn from one another. We grow and heal by coming together — learning, listening, creating, and loving. This is a collaborative experience. There is no single leader, only an exchange of wisdom, nourishment, and presence.

Come join us. If you’d like to hear about our upcoming offerings, send me a message and I’ll add you to the contact list. by @creativetable_ojai
