This will be my first solo exhibition in almost a DECADE, and my FIRST solo showing in the 757!

A few of my works have been exhibited here and there over the past couple of years, but this show will have the full breadth of my work on display!

164 Artists. 492 Original works of art! Across TWO OPENING NIGHTS! 🖼️✨ For the FIRST TIME EVER, The Mighty Minis Exhibition is opening the gallery TWICE!

After receiving a record-breaking number of applications, including an incredible number of first-time applicants, we made the exciting decision to expand this year’s exhibition into TWO shows, creating more opportunities for artists to share their work and connect with our community. Each exhibition will feature 82 artists, with an intentional mix of returning Mighty Minis veterans and newcomers!

At its heart, The Mighty Minis Exhibition is about making original art more accessible, creating opportunities for artists, and welcoming new and seasoned collectors into the gallery. Every original 8×8 work is priced at just $125.

We’re delighted to introduce Observational Watercolor for Wellness, a four-week class series led by our Co-Founder and Executive Director of Education & Studio, Monica Turley!

What if just 10–15 minutes of creativity each day could change the way you experience the world around you?

Through observational sketching, watercolor techniques, and intentional creative exercises, you’ll learn how to incorporate a meaningful art practice into your everyday life, no matter how full your schedule may be.

Each class begins with a mind-opening exercise designed to move beyond creative blocks, quiet self-doubt, and make room for exploration. Together, we’ll discover how small moments of observation can become opportunities for mindfulness, self-expression, and personal wellness.

No prior watercolor experience necessary! All materials to begin your pocket-sized sketchbook journey are included.

The Garage Gallery at the Creative Well Arts Foundation

Waiting for the Lull presents a collection of oil paintings by Fredericksburg-based artist Tim Criswell, whose work is shaped by a lifelong relationship with the ocean.

A self-taught painter and dedicated surfer, Criswell draws from memory and instinct rather than photographic reference. His process is both meditative and intuitive – each painting unfolding one brushstroke at a time.

Focusing on coastal landscapes and storm-driven skies, Criswell captures the quiet tension between movement and stillness — often depicting the moment when a storm begins to break and light returns to the horizon.

Leaning toward atmosphere over detail, his work evokes the feeling of a place rather than a precise scene, inviting viewers into a space of reflection, rhythm, and calm.

Whether you’re an experienced artist or picking up a pencil for the first time, this welcoming evening invites you to explore gesture, form, and expression while strengthening your hand-eye connection through guided timed poses.

We gathered for our very first Well Collective Studio Critique, an evening dedicated to the creative process and the people behind it.

We took a lap around the studios, sharing what we’re working on, where we’re feeling stuck, and what we’re excited to explore next. There were thoughtful questions, constructive suggestions, fresh perspectives, and ideas exchanged along the way.

Because creative community is about more than sharing finished work. It’s about making space for the messy middle, witnessing one another’s progress, and encouraging each other to keep going. When life asks us to elevate - travel journalist Latifah Al-Hazza brings a very literal and personal lens to ALTITUDE

Meet Latifah Al-Hazza

Latifah embarked on her first international trip at three months old, has lived in four countries, and has visited five continents and over 80 countries. She swam with Amazonian Candiru fish in Peru, contracted Dengue fever in Puerto Rico, fell on top of a colony of fire ants on Mt. Kilimanjaro, and experienced a hotel lockdown for bomb threats in Taiwan. Latifah graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a bachelor’s in broadcast journalism and holds a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Southern California. She traveled to Turkey for an international reporting class in college, which later won her an Emmy for her reporting skills. Latifah’s work has been featured in Vogue Arabia, Conde Nast Traveler, National Geographic, Travel + Leisure, Architectural Digest, CNN Travel, The New York Times, Forbes and more. She also worked as an editorial assistant for CNN Travel and a social media manager for Frommer’s Travel Guides.

A little time to pause, put pen to paper, and reconnect with yourself. The Writer’s Block is back at The Creative Well Arts Foundation! Join us for an intimate, intentional, and interactive journaling workshop led by Valeria L. Palmertree, where creative expression meets reflection.

Whether journaling is part of your daily routine or it’s been years since you last filled a page, this gathering is an invitation to slow down, explore your thoughts, and find inspiration through the simple act of writing. No rules, no expectations, and no need to be a “writer.” Just a welcoming space to show up on the page and get unstuck. Each session includes a brief introduction to a writing craft element, guided prompts, and time to write, reflect, and share at your own pace.
