Yes I know October is almost over. But that about sums up how life is going right now. He’s all the art I made in September, or at least all I took a picture of. Thanks for hanging here with me 💜 #757artist #sketchbook #originalartwork #windowpainting #vabeach

🙌🏽 Appreciation post 🙌🏽 Celebrating 3 years with @tessahalldesigns of The Garage and now @creativewellarts welcoming @creativemorningsvb inside at her venues in @thevibecreativedistrict! When chapter host @katepittman104 needed a spot to start monthly meet ups, Tessa jumped at the chance to partner. A thousand folding chair setups later, she is still smiling and greeting us every month with a genuine hospitality every guest can feel. Her morning outfit reveals always bring us joy!

Been a bit of stop and go on these pieces for the @creativewellarts Mighty Minis show in December. The final piece will have a wood panel with stand offs, the fin attached and painted, with a subtle background done on the wood leaving some open space.

The hurdle I ran into… the fins I had shipped were about 2 inches too long, so I had to cut and reshape them. After rough cuts & sanding, I primed them to see where the spots were that still needed more work. Then today it was back to the long process of sanding and fine tuning the shape. I think we’re almost ready to start sketching out and painting the fins. Just a few more tweaks 😉🤙

@creativemorningsvb speaker for the global @creativemorning theme ALTITUDE was world traveller Latifah Hazza @tifahtravels. We gather at The Creative Well Arts Foundation to hear Latifah's reflections on how travel and higher altitudes can change your perspective on the world and own yourself. Photography by @mistysavestheday for @thevibecreativedistrict. Special thanks to global sponsor @adobe and local sponsor @vabeacharts for supporting our creative community in @cityofvabeach.

For me it was an honor anytime Walt joined our table, it was a double honor when he drew portraits of us.

This Sunday night at 7 til 9pm a respectful honoring of a true local hero of art.

We’ve got the big table booked at @cafestellaroasters this Sunday night for a few hours, everyone is welcome if you’d like to doodle with me and remember @wallytorta #757artists
