A year in review... In Bristol, youth voice work is growing fast. We caught up with @creativeyouthnetwork to reflect on their last year, from piloting @thescoopbristol a digital youth voice platform backed by Youth Transformation Funding, to hackathons, and contributing to the National Youth Strategy. Their proudest achievement, in their own words: “The network of involved organisations is broadening, with more partners proactively stepping forward. More joined-up working at organisational level is slowly trickling down into more cross-working with young people themselves.” And what’s next? 👉A youth-led Youth Voice Network Conference during National Youth Work Week 👉Relaunching the Youth Voice Network, with communities of practice for facilitators and young people This is only a fraction of the work being created by our #TownsAndCitiesOfSocialAction network, dedicated to embedding youth social action locally. Want to find out more about our Towns and Cities of Social Action and how your organisation can get involved? This evening was such a success 💫 More than 30 young people took part and enjoyed a total of 5 showcases throughout the evening. The young artists expressed their experience in such a powerful way that created meaningful exchanges and long lasting memories. Shoutout to @noodslevels for holding it down and to @sgloscouncil and @kingswoodtowncouncil for making it all possible ❤️ We're beyond grateful for all our amazing partners and supporters! Stay tuned for the next #WeThe33 event! by @creativeyouthnetwork
