18 Creative Girls Night In Ideas + 18 reasons to text the group chat today 😍

Hi! I’m Alice 👋, and I’m your creative big sister on the internet.

For the last 6 years I’ve hosted @creativitycamp.co for over 600 girls, and every year my favorite part is dreaming up the most FUN creative thing I can put in front of them. Then it hit me: why is nobody doing this for the moms?

So I made 18 girls’ nights in. Part 1 had flowers, mahjong, candle making and sushi night.

Part 2 is where I kept my favorites 💕
A charm bar (@whatsyourbirdieblue created the most adorable experience!) where everyone builds her own necklace. Mini vintage cakes and champagne. A beauty swap where everyone brings her holy grail. And every year I dream up the most FUN creative projects for them.

Then it hit me: Whyare we not doing this for the moms?

For the woman who hasn’t had a hobby since college.

For the woman whose calendar is entirely other people’s appointments.

For the woman who wants to have everyone over but the house is a wreck and it feels like a whole production — so she picks a restaurant instead.

Friend. I did that for fifteen years 😅

And that’s a wrap on Creativity Camp 2026!

One hundred incredible girls filled our studio this summer, and somehow this final week may have been our best yet. (I know… I say that ever week!)

We dreamed bigger. Tried new things. Took brave risks. Welcomed extraordinary women who expanded what these girls believe is possible for their futures.

Watching confidence grow in real time will never get old.

To every family who trusted us with your daughters-thank you. And to our phenomenal lead team, Summer and Catherine, and every single one of our incredible counselors: thank you for pouring your hearts into these girls. I simply couldn’t do this work without you.

Confidence is built every time we ask our kids to do something that feels just a little scary.

Last week, that looked like walking into a room full of strangers. Looking someone in the eye. Offering a firm handshake. Standing in front of a panel of Sharks. Pitching an original idea. Thinking on their feet. Owning the room.

Were they nervous? Of course.

That’s the point.

Our job isn’t to remove every uncomfortable moment from our children’s lives. It’s to give them safe places to practice being brave.

Because one day, they’ll walk into a college interview.
A boardroom.
A first job.

A room where no one knows their name.
I want them to know exactly what to do.

That’s why we do this.

Hi! 🤗 It’s been a little while since I introduced myself on here, so I thought I’d share a bit about me, my work, and my crazy blessed world.

I’m a portrait photographer specializing in children and family, and I’ve been blessed to serve Atlanta and the Southeast at @parkstudios.co for two decades. I still pinch myself every day that this is my job.

I’m an unapologetic multi-tasker, and therefore, a bit of a mess. My creative mind is always spinning with ideas, and the rest of me hustles to keep up.

When Kyu and I decided to have kids, we were intentional about building a life that let me schedule work around Lyon and Elise.
Grateful to have the flexibility to never miss a carpool pickup.

I met my husband at a happy hour after work when I was 23. I was unhappy working as an engineer, and he boldly asked me, “If you could do anything, what would that be?” I fell instantly in love, and we’ve been partners in every aspect since.

In 2009, Kyu and I founded @napcp — a global organization for professional children, family, and portrait photographers. It’s a labor of love for us and our team, and we’re grateful to give back to our industry.

I created @creativity.camp for my creative daughter and every creative kid out there. It’s about empowering young dreamers to go boldly after what they love.

I don’t take myself too seriously, and I live by the motto that life is too short not to love what you’re doing every single day. Grateful to connect with you all here. Xo by @creativity.camp

The best weeks of summer - aren’t my girls so precious?!☀️

My heart is so full. Thank you to the parents for trusting us with your girls, to our incredible team for leading with such heart, and to each girl who showed up with courage, kindness, and a willingness to try something new.

One of my favorite parts of @creativity.camp is introducing our girls to women who are living out their dreams.

Today, interior designer @mallorymathisoninc shared a message I hope stays with every girl long after camp ends:

“Design your life around what you love.”

Then she gave the girls the chance to do exactly that.

Each girl received her own design kit, complete with a rendered room, tape measure, notebook, and materials to design her very own dream bedroom. Mallory and her team also brought baskets filled with fabric swatches, rug samples, and so many beautiful textures and details for the girls to choose from.

It wasn’t just a craft. It was an immersive experience that allowed the girls to step into the role of designer for the day and imagine what’s possible when creativity becomes a career.

I love inviting passionate entrepreneurs and community leaders to camp because sometimes all it takes is meeting someone who is doing what they love to help a young girl believe she can, too.

Sometimes I have to pinch myself. My studio full of girls cheering each other on, trying new things, finding their voices, and discovering what makes them come alive. This is why we do this work.

Girls’ confidence peaks at ages 10–12.

As a mom of an 11-year-old daughter, that statistic stopped me in my tracks.

Because when I look at girls this age, I see so much possibility. They are creative, curious, brave, and willing to try. They raise their hands. They share their ideas. They believe they can do big things.

And then somewhere along the way, many begin to question themselves.

They become more aware of comparison, social pressure, and fitting in. They start worrying more about what others think and less about what they think.

That’s why I’m so passionate about this age group.

Whether it’s through Creativity Camp, conversations around our dinner table, or the opportunities we create for our girls to stretch themselves, I believe confidence isn’t something we build once.

It’s something we nurture and protect.

The goal isn’t to raise the loudest girl in the room.

It’s to raise a girl who knows her worth, uses her voice, lifts others up, and believes she belongs wherever she goes.
