From Rural Grounds to Bigger Dreams | Yi Kanpur

What happens when we don’t just introduce sports in rural schools, but create a pathway for talent to grow? This championship was a step towards making sports a part of everyday rural education—not just a one-day activity.

For the past 2 weeks, students underwent rigorous practice and intense selection rounds. From 897 students of Classes 6–12, 4 Kabaddi teams were formed, while 87 students competed in Long Jump.

🔥 The matches were intense.
💪 The talent was incredible.
🏅 And the hunger to compete was inspiring.

And this is only Phase 1. The winning students will now move beyond their school grounds to compete at the city level under Yi in the next phase.

Our vision is simple — infuse a culture of sports in rural schools, identify hidden talent, and give them a pathway from grassroots to bigger platforms. 🇮🇳

Because champions can come from anywhere. They just need an opportunity to play. 🏆

These are not just numbers; they are a reminder to myself that my baby has entered the pre-teen years, and I need to get ready for your mood swings, your bursts of energy, and your occasional low moments.

I need to remind myself that it's time for you to watch your own steps, to let you weave your own dreams and turn them into your vision. I must learn to let you grow, explore, and bloom my young kanha into a humble person.

Not your regular birthday party 👀🎉
For Kimaira’s 10th birthday, we curated three beautiful live art stations—each one designed to be meaningful, useful, and truly memorable.

👒 The girls painted their own hats — turning them into stylish keepsakes they can actually wear.
🖼️ The younger kids and all the boys created our fancy frames — a perfect mix of easy, fun, and functional.
🌿 The moms, dads, uncles, and aunts crafted our Swan Planter — a unique décor piece they’ll proudly use at home.

Instead of the usual return gifts, everyone left with something handmade, personalised, and genuinely useful.

2024 has been a whirlwind of emotions—joys, challenges, growth, and reflection. As the new year dawns, it brings hope for new achievements, a space for growth, and the courage to embrace life’s journey.

This year, my mantra is Surrender:
🌸 Surrender to gratitude for all the good things.
🌸 Surrender to emotions, letting them guide my path.
🌸 Surrender to conflicts, knowing they are meaningless.
🌸 Surrender to the Almighty, whose grace makes it all possible.

I hope to write meaningful chapters in my 2025 life book, documenting gratitude daily and cherishing every moment.

The last one digit birthday and another one without a single balloon or disposable.
Thankyou my little scientist for being so aware about the usage of the resources. You never demand out of reach things and patiently wait for the time to get that whether it is as simple as a laser light. Only you can ask for CCPP as birthday day from your pappu and can wait for several days to open your presents as one day one gift rule applies.

to always add the just right sweetness and colour to my decor through her cakes.. I absolutely just need to open my #mummykigathri every year to add a Lil bit cake table decor and I pat myself for doing that.
