Brrrrr… Europe may be sweltering right now, but in certain parts of Australia we’re shivering like a mountain climber in a swimsuit. Yes, it’s that cold.

So rug up and enjoy the third instalment Of Mr Luke’s Magic Library. Where the class have to get creative with a perilous Snowy Rescue!

Technically available from July 1, but you might stumble upon an early copy on a shelf, if you keep your eyes peeled! 👀

Come with me as I awkwardly fumble my way through a mildly frustrating unboxing of Genie Snail!

A hilarious new book where a wishes can come true. As long as it’s within the rules of course.

Out Feb 24 and available for preorder now.

Another author dream came true when I was sent these magical photos last night!

After receiving Genie Snail in a @wordsgrowminds kindergarten book pack, 4yo Miss A and her mum worked hard together to make this costume (Miss A helped with the papier-mâché, painting and cutting stars). Isn’t it so splendid? I told them it’s the best snail an author could wish for.

Have a wonderful last day of book week! ✨ by @crikeyboy

This day just keeps getting better and better 🥳

How incredible is this Brunocorn from Treasure Trouble 🤯.

Their map is the right way up so hopefully they found their way to their book week parade 🥰🥳.

Thank you @caitlinadale 😁.

Look out! There’s a new monster about!

It’s the costume parade,
But poor Abi forgot!
So a last-minute outfit,
Is all that she’s got!

This is book 30 in the School of Monsters series and this marks the end of the reader series, in this format 😉

We figured that 30 characters are more than enough to manage and that perhaps we could tell their stories on other ways!

But that’s for another time 🤫

For now, please enjoy these final stories. We think they’re up there with the best!

Look out! There’s a new monster about!

Griffin loves racing.
He always comes first.
So why do his friends
Think that he is the worst?

This is book 29 in the School of Monsters series and while sometimes it’s felt like a sprint, it’s definitely been a marathon. But like all marathons (I’m told), the greatest reward is reaching that finish line.

But this isn’t the end quite yet 😉

Hey there Canberra area friends! I’m going to be visiting your lovely part of the world, the week after Book Week and I have 4 whole days available to come and speak to you, your school or your library!

We can read stories, chat about making books and do some drawing together. Sounds like fun, right?

Well, if you’re interested, you can talk to my lovely friends at @bookedoutagency and they can organise everything in order to make that happen. There’s a direct link to the booking form in my bio page. Or you can visit their site your own way, if you like. Or even give them a call if you prefer having a chat.

ACT now, and hopefully I’ll see you soon 🤓 by @crikeyboy
