POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I turned 31 on Monday y’all! Thank you to everyone who reached out and showed love. I appreciate tf out of y’all! Special shoutout to my fiancée for making it sooooo special for me. 🥳

All I want for my birthday is for you to listen to @losemptys’ latest release, “CRYPTID EP.” The boys and I put an incredible amount of effort into this, and I know that you will like at least one song! Just in time for spooky season too! 🎃

I have one last request, and this is only for those who truly fuck with me as a musician. Please follow my new music page @cristian_alexus_music. I won’t be offended if you don’t follow it. I only want people who genuinely engage with my playing.

My only goal for that page is to post my original music. Maybe some of it will be future Los Emptys stuff, maybe it won’t. I just want a place where I can share my music unencumbered. I have 16 years’ worth of music to share, and I continue to make new stuff all the time. It’s a little dry rn, but let me cook 😈

Played at Area 15 for the first time with the boys

My car battery died in the A-lot where Mac Demarco, growlers, and the drums played at

Still made it to Cornish for Irish car bombs

What a night

It’s my lovers birthday. It’s crazy to think that we met when we were in high school. I would ditch school just to go to her school and hang out. It was chill cause she was the yearbook editor. I would surprise her at the optometrist office. I snuck her into my high school senior year group photo. I messaged her dad on Facebook and told him that I wanted to date his daughter. (Don’t worry it worked out) I would and still will do anything for her.

Happy birthday lover, after all these years you still make me the happiest boy. Proud of you and the woman you’ve become, highschool you would be proud. 🌞 by @cristian_alexus

Always a pleasure talking with @_yaatusabes for @lasvegasweekly.

I had the honor of sharing three albums that have had a huge influence on me. My first response was, “It’s definitely more than three,” but I did my best to narrow it down to the records that genuinely shaped me. I also wanted to highlight albums that aren’t as mainstream (sorry, Bad Bunny 😅). I’m always trying to put y’all onto good music.

Each of these picks represents a different phase of my life, from the music I was listening to at 15 to the albums that still inspire me at 30.

This also reminded me that listening to an album has become something you have to intentionally seek out. Streaming makes it easy to jump from song to song, but there’s something special about experiencing a record from beginning to end. It’s a good reminder to enjoy the whole album, not just the ear candy.

What’s one album that would make your Key 3? 🤘🏽

A few of my favorites from Saturday’s Summer Nights by @natelovel

Thank you to everyone who came out Saturday night for Summer Nights. Even though it was hot AF, y’all still showed up and made this night unforgettable.

Thank you to The Escapers for being humble, easy to work with, and for trusting me to make this happen. Thank you to Overnight Celebrity, Sylvaner, and my boys in Los Emptys for being part of this experience.

Special shoutout to my guy Colt. We planned this in two weeks, and I’m super proud of the work we did behind the scenes to make sure everything ran smoothly.

I also want to say that I’m taking a break from organizing shows during the month of August… unless a super, super sick opportunity comes along. We’ve done six shows in the span of two months, which is the most I’ve ever done. I’m a bit tired, but in the best way possible. I’ll be regrouping and focusing on creating content for La Palma.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us up to this point.

One last message:

I talk a lot about the numbers and the analytics, but I want to point out that those aren’t what matter most. The most important thing is how we come together as a community.

Together, we’re creating a platform for Las Vegas music to be heard. We’re inspiring young people to see that there’s more to life than a 9-to-5. Picking up an instrument is a viable career and a noble profession. Start a band with your friends and the world will open up for you.

Together, we’re showing the world that Las Vegas is more than casinos and the Strip. 🌴

See you at the next show

Mi abuelo used to pose like this in his photos. He was an agriculturalist and a prominent voice in his community, a pueblito called quecholac.

I now pose like this in honor of him, for my community. for my pueblito of people who love, dance, and create. 🌴

The real reason I booked two shows in one weekend...

It’s not about ticket sales.

It’s about bringing bands I genuinely love to Vegas and sharing them with people who might love them too.

6/8 ALL AGES at @voodoobreweryvegas WITH @bruha.band @warph0le @desertislandboys and @paranoid_time
