I feel like, the recording of my set at Sisy is ready for you 📼

Let’s sum it up like this: I played the music I love for 3 hours, being 100% myself, with no compromises, literally surrounded by a world class crowd who fully embraced what I brought to the dancefloor.

Every time I play at Sisyphos is a marker of my progress as an artist, and I’m forever grateful for how much you give back to me. I’m already looking forward to the next one 🤠

Big hugs to all the friends who came to support me and party, and to all the new ones who vibed with me that night! And of course, thank you to @sisyphosberlin for the trust since 2022 🫰

THIS IS THE END.

Over the past few years, I’ve seen so many clubs close their doors, and every single one of them hurt terribly.

But seeing this club, the place where so much of my journey started, close its doors for good feels particularly difficult.

The oldest picture I could find dates back to 2013. I was 20 years old 👨🏻‍🎓

At the time, the place was called DV1, and Happiness Therapy as a label didn’t exist yet. It was still just a party series, but this club became the place where I could experiment, learn, and invite some of the artists who would shape my journey.

I brought artists like Modek (on the picture), Huxley, Molecule, Raving George before she became Charlotte de Witte, and many, many more.

When DV1 eventually became Groom, I hosted countless Happiness Therapy label nights there, turning it into a platform where I could bring the artists I was signing to Lyon and share their music with our community.

More than a club, it became a playground. A place to grow as a DJ, as a promoter, and as a label. A place where I met some of the people who then became friends for life.

And now, thirteen years later, after changing owners and names, this Friday will be the last one. For real this time.

I want to warmly thank Morgane for trusting me throughout all these years, and Yvan before her, back in the DV1 days.

Losing yet another club in Lyon’s city centre is obviously worrying, and I think it should make all of us think about the state of our scene today.

But I choose to look at everything this place gave me.

And maybe that’s the thing about endings: different doesn’t necessarily mean worse.
Things change. Places disappear. Chapters close. But what they gave us stays, and there’s always something new waiting to be built.

So this last one will undoubtedly be emotional. But above all, I want it to be a celebration of everything this place has meant to me, to Happiness Therapy, and to so many of us.

Thank you DV1. Thank you Groom ❤️
