🔛 HT27 is OUT NOW 💿 Landing just in time for summer, @strandtuch_music makes his return to Happiness Therapy with L.O.V.E., a feel-good and playful EP. The Parisian producer serves up two club-ready originals, plus a digital bonus that recalls what made us fall for his sound in the first place 🫰

On remix duties, UK producer @tino___uk delivers a standout reinterpretation of L.O.V.E., bringing the sound everyone’s been locking into lately, while Berlin-based @131bpm injects See U Clap with his raw, sweaty and infectious drive 🪭

We’re kicking things off with Baka G! With a mix full of unreleased tracks, it’s the perfect opportunity for us to announce that her 3rd EP on Happiness Therapy will be coming out this September 🔜💿

🔛 HT26 is OUT NOW 💿 Scottish mainstay Big Miz is back on Happiness Therapy. After the dancefloor favourite Coolin EP, he returns with Wanna Get Down. Two proper club bangers that sit right between the label’s signature energy and Big Miz’s raw and playful UK club vibes.

This new release comes with two killer remixes. Japanese rising artist Paperkraft delivers a full-on party anthem, while Berlin-based CRYME takes things into deeper, tougher club territory.

THIS IS THE END.

Over the past few years, I’ve seen so many clubs close their doors, and every single one of them hurt terribly.

But seeing this club, the place where so much of my journey started, close its doors for good feels particularly difficult.

The oldest picture I could find dates back to 2013. I was 20 years old 👨🏻‍🎓

At the time, the place was called DV1, and Happiness Therapy as a label didn’t exist yet. It was still just a party series, but this club became the place where I could experiment, learn, and invite some of the artists who would shape my journey.

I brought artists like Modek (on the picture), Huxley, Molecule, Raving George before she became Charlotte de Witte, and many, many more.

When DV1 eventually became Groom, I hosted countless Happiness Therapy label nights there, turning it into a platform where I could bring the artists I was signing to Lyon and share their music with our community.

More than a club, it became a playground. A place to grow as a DJ, as a promoter, and as a label. A place where I met some of the people who then became friends for life.

And now, thirteen years later, after changing owners and names, this Friday will be the last one. For real this time.

I want to warmly thank Morgane for trusting me throughout all these years, and Yvan before her, back in the DV1 days.

Losing yet another club in Lyon’s city centre is obviously worrying, and I think it should make all of us think about the state of our scene today.

But I choose to look at everything this place gave me.

And maybe that’s the thing about endings: different doesn’t necessarily mean worse.
Things change. Places disappear. Chapters close. But what they gave us stays, and there’s always something new waiting to be built.

So this last one will undoubtedly be emotional. But above all, I want it to be a celebration of everything this place has meant to me, to Happiness Therapy, and to so many of us.

Thank you DV1. Thank you Groom ❤️
Now let’s give this place the goodbye it deserves: THIS FRIDAY, CROWD CONTROL B2B MAGGY SMISS ALL NIGHT LONG 🪩

Come make this last one the most beautiful party we can, and create one last memory together 🫂 taken in Groom by @ht_rec

NEW MIX ALERT! 🪩

The second artist to join our new mix series is none other than Marius Acke 🇧🇪

A Belgian producer and DJ we’ve been lucky to work with for a little over a year now. A brilliant composer and a true studio craftsman, @mariusacke is also a killer DJ, bringing the pure and authentic vibe of 90s house music to every one of his mixes.

We can’t wait to have him back with us this Friday in Paris for our new Happiness Therapy Label Night at @sacre142 ! ❤️
