For my first IWC i chose an "Anti Magnet" one from the late 30s era.
With its perfectly 35 mm size it wears comfortably on the wrist for a daily.
The rare gilt sector dial with its original untouched patina is the main part of the show and delivers tons of charm.
This gem is animated by the legendary cal 83.

Untouched gorgeous gilt dial that really pops with light.
Beautiful syringe hands.
Super sharp case.
The Valjoux 22 movement has been freshly serviced (2026).
Perfect 36 mm size.

⏰️ New Watch Alert ⏰️

The Vulcain Cricket. Vintage 50's with rare solid yellow gold execution.

There's a story behind every piece that finds its way to my collection. This one arrived at a particular moment. A commitment. The kind of day that deserves something you'll carry on your wrist for the next forty years.

I chose a special watch with an uncommon complication for this special event.
Vulcain spent five years trying to make an alarm loud enough to wake a sleeping man. The solution, a patented dual-case construction, vibrating like a living thing against the skin, earned it a name borrowed from the insect that sings through the night. The Cricket. First alarm wristwatch ever made. Later gifted to presidents. But none of that is why I chose it.

I chose it for its beauty, the two tone pristine silver dial with applied arabic numerals in gold enhanced by a blued second hand in a compact charismatic solid yellow gold case gives this tool watch a very elegant look that matches perfectly my personal tastes. taken in French Riviera by @crowned.time
