MR 33 vs 1 GTR

Epic race 💪This was too close to call by the officials so they had us back to re-run, MR 33 won to go into the finals however the event was then called off due to heavy rain, too risky with 2000hp+ cars.

First big event testing the new 1 GTR, great to be back racing at higher level.

Experienced an issue rolling on in 1st gear during this run which cut power, so had to play catchup to David’s GTR which is very fast at rolls 2.7 100-200 highly competitive and will only get faster. 2.5 100-200 on the drag strip and will run 7’s!
No slingshot intended, we will race again 👊

The R34 screaming its way to victory - @crdr34gtr wins the WTAC Plazmaman PRO-AM Class with a 1:26.379 ⏱️ and there’s plenty left in the car! After laying down this time early into the event - the team focused on sorting gremlins and prepping it for the nighttime shootout which ended up being canceled due to weather conditions at Sydney Motorsport Park. This winning time was an improvement on their previous best time of 1:27.573 (2024). We have a full feature video on our Youtube of this car for more 🍿

🏆 2026 WTAC PRO-AM WINNERS! 🏆

Congratulations to Drew Hall on taking out the 2026 World Time Attack Challenge Pro-Am Class!

Race day definitely threw a few challenges our way, with power steering gremlins deciding to show up at the worst possible time. But that didn’t stop Drew from putting his head down and setting the pace with a 1:26.3!

We know there’s plenty more left in the car, and once we get the steering issue sorted, we’re confident those times will continue to tumble.

Drew deserves all the credit behind the wheel he absolutely drove the doors off this thing and delivered when it mattered. 👊

We’re incredibly proud to see how far this car has come. What started life as Drew’s stock R34 GTR road car has evolved, step by step, into a WTAC Pro-Am winning GTR. 🏆

It’s been a pleasure being part of the journey. A massive thank you to Drew for putting his trust in CRD and giving us the opportunity to build and develop this car into what it is today.

A huge shoutout to the entire CRD team who worked tirelessly all weekend to keep the car on track. When problems came up, everyone dug deep and got the job done. This result belongs to the whole team.

🚀 OUT OF THE BLOCKS!

First session of the day and Drew has already punched in a 1:26.3! 🔥

A mega effort straight out of the gate, and with more track time and plenty still left in the car, we’re confident those times are only going to KEEP TUMBLING! ⏱️💨

Unfortunately, a power steering pump failure into Turn 1 sent Drew on a small excursion, damaging the rear diffuser in the process.

No time to dwell on it though — the CRD crew is in overdrive getting the car repaired and turned around for the final session of the day. 🔧⚡

1:26.3 on the board. Now let’s see what she’s really got. 👊🔥

👑 THERE’S A NEW KING IN TOWN! 👑

George’s GTR “JSVSKI” has officially rewritten the record books!

🔥 6.36 @ 225MPH 🔥
Making it the QUICKEST & FASTEST SKYLINE GTR IN THE WORLD! 🌎🏆

This is still a relatively new car, but it’s definitely made us work for this result. We’ve been learning, developing and refining the package every time it hits the track, and the exciting part is there’s still plenty left in the setup.
This car WILL go quicker.

A result like this doesn’t happen without the right people behind it.

SCF Race Cars absolutely nailed the chassis build and suspension package. They designed a completely custom IRS setup for this car, and we’re still learning just how much potential it has.

Al’s Race Glides - killer transmission combo that has worked exactly as intended. When it comes to this side of the package, there’s nobody else we’d rather work with.

Nitto - the ever-reliable rotating assembly at the heart of the combination. Nitto rotating components are all we use in our builds. Proven at this level, time and time again.

JHH - for continually turning around our machining jobs quickly and helping us keep the program moving when every day counts.

Rob Marjan - the only person we trust behind the wheel of a car like this. You now steer the two quickest and fastest GTRs in the world.
