. Turn the volume up & listen to Drew Hall's @croydonracingdevelopments built Nissan Skyline GTR R34 race around SMP at the @worldtimeattackchallenge 2023. Weighing in at 1515kg and producing 800bhp from its CRD built Nissan RB28 with a baby GTX3584 turbocharger, our owner / driver, Drew Hall lapped the Sydney Motorsport Park track & set a new PB of 1min 27.57sec in the ProAm class. A huge shoutout & thanks to the crew at @xtremegtr who without offering us their spare transmission, we would have not been able to feature at #wtac2023. Also a mighty big congratulations on taking out the Open Class with that amazing machine. Running the same VR38 built by CRD almost 10 years ago & mated to a HKS GT800 twin turbo kit & upgraded GR6 transmission, Neville worked hard overcoming his lack of seat time this year to set a incredible new PB lap time around the daunting track. With Xmas around the corner Santa has been requested to drop off a set of racing brake calipers to CRD for Nev’s GTR35, adding stopping performance to pull the beast up from its 300km/h top speed down Conrod Straight. . TeamCRD yesterday attended the 100th edition of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in the very beautiful & picturesque state of Colorado in the USA. We attended the event on a fact finding reconnaissance mission where we connected & networked with many locals involved in the running of the event. We can’t even begin to describe how gruelling & challenging this event is for the teams, their mechanics, friends & families. With the information & knowledge gained we now turn our attention to completing the build of our racecar to compete on a mountian on the other side of the world & to make it fast & reliable to climb the steepest & most challenging 20km of bitumen, strung by 156 corners, at over 4300m above sea level. Ultimately, we’d love to share the experience & have y’all joining us on Americas Mountain, Pikes Peak, supporting CRD & showing the Yanks how we do it!
