Good things come in threes 🧁 🥐 🍫

I’ve wanted to try Crumb Together Bakes for the longest time, but I’ve never managed to get to the bakery before it closed. Luckily, they now supply @the.vibe.cafe , so while I was in Liverpool I finally got the chance to try them and I pretty much got everything that was left. No regrets! 😂

First up was the chocolate éclair. It’s been YEARS since I’d had one and it was just as good as I remembered only chunkier, more indulgent and of course … vegan! 🍫

The pistachio cuffin was absolutely divine. It had a fruity surprise centre, topped with the creamiest, nutty pistachio swirl. The texture was sensational sweet, sugary, flaky croissant style dough and honestly, it was as big as my head. 😂 This is a bake I’ve wanted to try for the longest time, but they’re not often vegan, so I was very happy to finally get my hands on one!

Lastly, I made a rogue choice and went for a Lamington something I’d never tried before because coconut usually isn’t my favourite. I took the risk and I’m so glad I did! The soft sponge, fruity jam and coconut coating worked so well together.

Everything was delicious, indulgent and clearly made with lots of care. I’m so glad I finally got to try Crumb Together Bakes!

This week’s hero: Kimchi Cheese Brioche.

Soft, golden brioche filled with a kimchi butter, kimchi, spring onions, melty vegan cheese. Finished with a kimchi syrup and black sesame, savoury, rich, a little fiery, and dangerously moreish.

It’s the kind of bake that disappears fast from the counter, so this is your sign to grab one while they’re here.
