Swipe right on The Bed Trick! Meet Anna, played by Claire Rigsby. šŸ”„ Claire Rigsby (she/they) is an actor/maker/mover/shaker originally from Atlanta, GA. Claire is thrilled to be back on stage with Artists Rep (and Luan!) again after True Story, 1984, and The Thanksgiving Play. More recently, you may have seen Claire as Holly in Mrs. Harrison at Portland Center Stage, many characters in A Christmas Carol at Portland Playhouse, or sitting 10 feet in the air with co-creator India Roper-Moyes in ā€œstitch by stitch,ā€ their large-scale fiber installation for the Risk/Reward Festival. Hereā€™s the thing This shows what the space looks like when there arenā€™t people in it. But the real show, the real art, is when itā€™s full of folks interacting with everything weā€™ve made and/or collected. Artist Profile: CLAIRE RIGSBY & INDIA ROPER_MOYES | ā€œstitch by stitchā€ | Interactive Performance Installation . An installation exploring the continuous cycle of making and unmaking through yarn. . Claire and India are performers and fiber enthusiasts who connected over a love of yarn in theatre spaces. They are both graduates of PETEā€™s year-long Institute for Contemporary Performance. As fiber artists, theyā€™re both interested in exploring the metaphors inherent in making something one stitch at a time. The flow of pattern.
