Thanks for an awesome Goss-Night ALL-STARS, Portland!

And thanks to @sirentheater for giving us space to launch this show for the past year. If you came to a GossNight and experienced The Siren for the first time, you’ve gotta go back there for another great night of comedy. Go see The Lost Boys playing every weekend this month before they sell out - find it on their calendar. Sirentheater.com

Back in time.... Sh'Bang!
Still coming down from this one... What a time. I mean, seriously, What a time! I love my friends SO much I'll happily lay alone in a casket and cry about them... (Especially Bruce)

All the best weirdos in one place doing the best art you'll ever witness, and no one sleeps or eats or hydrates enough the whole weekend and we all just slowly fall apart with each other and it's over and we all leave and have to wait a freaking YEAR to do it again. Woweee.

(PS I'm so proud of @pollyalchemy for making her mirror installation dream a reality.)

You all put in a RECORD BREAKING number of applications, WHEW!

What's next? Our community curation panel gets to reading! We bring in former artists, curators, and fantastic people from around our region to sift through your brilliant proposals and decide what is the most cutting-edge, timely, and interesting pieces to present.

We'll be informing artists of the panel's decision in mid-March and announcing the full line-up in April.

As always, thank you - ALL OF YOU! -so much for trusting us with your ideas.

I loved making this play with these people. I love how this play resonated with audiences. I love the lessons it taught us all. I love how it pushed the boundaries of love, light, empathy, patience, comfort, and joy. I loved bearing witness to the brilliance of this whole cast, creative & crew who continuously showed me something new and something true 🫶🏾🌟

I have some news to share that I’m very excited about: The Cold Plunge, a radio play written and directed by Sunny Bleckinger IS OUT IN THE WORLD!

I invite you to listen to this absurdist comedy drama that is so deeply human and heartwarming/breaking, so utterly strange at times you’re like, “Wait, come again?” but with it all so purposeful and CORRECT and fitting nicely like a favorite sweater.

Voicing Myrna was a highlight of my artistic career. (I seriously had so much fun, I wish I could do things like this everyday.) This was one of the projects that got me through a very tough year, and I’d like to think I helped get Myrna get through the murkiness as she did with me. Thank you Sunny for entrusting me to portray her.

You can find all four episodes on any podcast platforms! Also can we get three cheers for radio plays? MORE OF EM PLEASE!
