I love rainy, gloomy, cloudy, overcast days. I hate the sun & REALLY hate the Summer. I can’t stand bugs & I don’t fancy being hot or sweating. I’m a homebody who loves being home, in bed. So naturally yes give me the gloom. I’d I had to choose a “nice” day by total societal standards it would be 70° with mostly cloudy maybe a peek of sun & a nice breeze. My favorite season is Autumn with Spring coming in close second but we don’t get much of either in Chicago. Our winters are freezing & our Summers can go to hell…literally & figuratively. The only thing I can appreciate about Summer is how happy everyone seems to be. The energy is so alive. I’m assuming a lot of people experience a massive onset of seasonal depression in the colder months because there’s such a huge difference in the overall vibe here. Their sadness doesn’t bother me although I can empathize with the weight of their emotions. But personally I’m busy enjoying the coziness of the cooler months. What’s your favorite season & why?

p.s. @thepearhouse.shop is a new, much needed & exciting addition to wicker park on milwaukee, especially considering so many chain stores taking over the neighborhood, it’s beginning to lose it’s charm. The store is beyond amazing. I fell in love with their fitting rooms, the layout/design of the entire space & the unique & carefully chosen pieces they have to offer!

p.p.s. my extraordinarily talented daughter did my nails…chrome mani for the girls @luvsobttrswt @scumfuckkkkori
