POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

🥰😭Not sure why I waited so long to post this…

I got a quick-turn around audition request to tape this past summer for this show. I was out of town but was lucky enough to find a self-tape place nearby that could squeeze me in last minute.

I was a little put-off when I got the request bc I’d already been offered (without auditioning) multiple roles on this very same show for similar characters and had either passed for one reason or another, Or the role was cut before I shot it and in one case (the first time I auditioned a few years ago for the show) I actually filmed but the scene didn’t make the final edit. (Bummer)
You can see one take of my audition in this post!

But when I tell you whatever is meant to be will absolutely BE and won’t pass you by…
Because of all those perceived losses (in my mind) I earned the opportunity to #guestStar opposite The one and only #Queen #AngelaBassett! 🤗🤗 Along with an amazing #director who happened to be a woman! #JenniferLynch (Love that for me🥰).. on @911onabc for the Season 9 Premiere!
Episode 901 DrFriedman
🎬🎥The day on set was epic!! (If you wanna hear about it- it’s too much to type! lol reach out!)

If you haven’t watched the episode please check it out!
Also Spoiler alert …if you haven’t watched yet, then also don’t scroll too far on pics —-if you made it this far in this long post! 🫣🤪
Always thankful for my team! @mastertalentagency and lexyalvarez
& This Casting office who keeps giving me amazing opportunities! 🎬🎥
💆🏾‍♀️ @tressybestie (responsible for my beautiful goddess braids that made an appearance)

Some dialogue was cut but I’m forever grateful for all the “no’s” that happened with this show prior to this!!

@therookieabc appreciation post:🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽👮‍♂️🚓🚨#therookie #therookieabc #therookie #therookieseason6
👩🏽‍⚕️The #NurseLisa audition was for a few lines one episode #season2 #costar #character. I walked on set and the director told me I was the choice immediately bc everything I did seemed so innate...(I told him well, My Mom @coney002 is a #nurse and so I'd been around the #energy my whole life) He was like oh that makes sense! 🫶🏾
Also #sidenote: Shout out to my good friend @rayjuliantorres_official who taped me for it (before taping in LA was really a thing) and made me still use the take where my hair was a mess... bc as he said- "you're a busy nurse- running around the hospital...your hair might get messy!!" 🤣🤣😂🤦🏽‍♀️
Anyway, it has become so much more...
👩🏽‍⚕️Nurse Lisa has been in #therookieabc here and there for 5 seasons #14Episodes (🙏🏽 praying for more to come)
But this episode tops the list bc I got in on some other action! 😊 w @jeanelie (stoked about that)

🔫🔪When I read the first scene... I freaked out - like oh no!!!! They are killing me off!!😭😭 even sent it to my agent... @mastertalentagency ...who also freaked! 🤣😂🤣😂
I continued reading and learned that, in-fact..I lived! ...phew!!!! 😅😅
Anyhoo. #NurseLisa has been the gift that keeps on giving! 🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾 #14Episodes so far!!
#season6 was a short one, but hefty. I was in the #seasonpremier and got my #castchair that day, which was the icing on the cake to feeling a part of the cast... but also I just received my #Season6 #wrapgift which was sad!
Here is the scene and some highlights from set!
Can't wait to see what's next for #NurseLisa

Also...too many photos to post in one...so more to come! 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽👩🏽‍⚕️🥰 by @crystalconey_

DON’T JUST LOSE WEIGHT. BUILD SOMETHING 💪🏽

A smaller number on the scale doesn’t automatically mean a stronger, healthier body.

Build muscle. Increase strength. Improve movement. Develop confidence.

Strength training gives you something to chase beyond weight loss: progress.

One more rep.
Five more pounds.
Better technique.
More control.

That’s a transformation you can feel before you ever see it.

DM “STRENGTH” and let’s start building.

Your body follows your habits.

You don’t lose weight by chasing perfection. You lose weight by building habits you can actually sustain.

Lift heavier.
Eat with intention.
Move consistently.
Recover properly.
Repeat.

The goal isn’t just to weigh less. It’s to become stronger, healthier, and more confident in the body you’re building.

Ready to stop starting over?

DM “START” and let’s build your plan.
