On the floor at EMS World Expo, Dubai Ambulance rolled out SANAD, their Field Support Unit.
This is not a city box on a van chassis. Permanent 4×4, air suspension that raises and lowers, built to get into desert, mountain track, and disaster debris a normal ambulance will not cross. Once it is there, the cabin is the point: room for up to 14, two patients on stretchers, military-grade loading, Ferno patient handling and iNTRAXX mounts, monitoring, tracking, and scene surveillance. They are selling it as a mobile medical post, not just a ride to the hospital.
Designed in Dubai. Base vehicle from Torsus. Cabin systems with Ferno, loading by Frestems, lighting by Whelen, plus Bristol, Acetech, and UXE. Was on display at the Ferno stand this week in Orlando.
Interesting concept for the calls where the road ends before the patient does.

Drones carrying blood to the field is already a reality as shown at EMS World, Blood is now flying to the scene in Hillsborough County Florida.
Hillsborough County Fire Rescue just demonstrated what it calls the nation’s first EMS drone program for prehospital whole blood. Live operations are expected this month. A 911 call-taker or a paramedic on scene can request a unit. An Archer First Response Systems drone, staged in a climate-controlled container and monitored 24/7, flies temperature-controlled whole blood from OneBlood and lowers a cooler so crews can start the transfusion before arriving to the hospital #ems #emsworld #trauma #emergency #blood taken in Orange County Convention Center by @csardoc

This month the last operational HH-60G Pave Hawk made its final flight at Moffett Air National Guard Base, California — closing more than 30 years of combat rescue. From the Alaskan wilderness to the Hindu Kush, those crews brought people home. They will be missed.
Their successor is already in the fight: the HH-60W Jolly Green II. More range, more power, better survivability and sensors — and already writing the next chapter of Air Force rescue.
