Exploring an abandoned mining village outside of Pittsburgh, PA. During the 1920s, the mine owners agreed to build this town and raise wages under one condition; that the workers never unionize. The workers kept their end of the promise. The nearby mine closed in the 1950s although families lived here all the way up until the economic collapse around 2009. Very sad to see most of the houses still containing personal belongings. by @cstone710

Long overdue for another road trip through Virginia. These were taken two years ago on the rural back roads of Virginia. One of the best states for exploring old abandoned houses, especially in the winter months. by @cstone710

Happy to report that both the pilot and passenger survived this plane crash with only minor injuries. Very lucky!

Montgomery County Fire/Rescue with assistance from many other agencies and companies did a fantastic job on the rescue and recovery effort. by @cstone710

Peak foliage in Northern Vermont is something special. In my two visits the area around this lake had some of the most vibrant colors, taken on 10/8/22. The last photo is with the Mavic 3 zoom camera, which loses image quality but gains a new perspective. taken in Vermont by @cstone710

Happy Halloween from one of my favorite haunted attractions. This one was definitely worth every penny, hard to do it justice with photos. Could spend a whole day here appreciating the detail and craftsmanship. Also, it’s open during the day which is great for the little ones. 🎃👻🍂 taken in Haunted Overload by @cstone710

The first stop on my fall road trip. Drove 10 hours thru the night to get here just in time for sunrise. With no time to hike I put up the drone and saw hikers already at the top taking photos. Definitely have to appreciate they’re dedication of climbing up in the cold and dark at 5am. I did the hike later that day for sunset and can confirm the views are worth it! taken in New Hampshire by @cstone710
