That’s the question Emily is helping answer in the @csuhes Sleep and Metabolism Lab with Dr. Josie Broussard!

As an undergraduate biomedical science student @csuvetmedbiosci, Emily is gaining hands-on research experience contributing to work that could improve health outcomes for people who work overnight schedules.

🏃‍♀️💚 A great Homecoming weekend starts with a 5K.

Thank you to everyone who joined us last weekend for the Homecoming 5K. From students and alumni to faculty, staff, and community members, it was a morning filled with movement, connection, and Ram pride. A huge thank‑you to @csufutbol for recognizing our Fit Cancer program during their Cancer Awareness Night.

We were honored to have past participants deliver the game ball and help share the message of our program with the crowd. Their presence made the night even more meaningful.

The @american_heart American Heart Association has awarded fellowships to four Health and Exercise Science researchers, three working on stroke research and one studying endometriosis.

Proud CSU alum, five-sport athlete and cancer survivor Judy Devine ‘69 was on campus today to celebrate @CSUHES’ Fit Cancer program — carrying the game ball onto the field with HES faculty to start tonight’s @CSUFutbol match. She then dropped in to cheer on @CSUVolleyball, one of the five sports she played as a Ram!

Fit Cancer is an eight-week program for adults living with and beyond cancer, featuring group cardio, strength and flexibility classes led by an ACSM Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist and Cancer Exercise Trainer, plus education and resources to support long-term physical activity.

Thank you Judy for your unwavering support and advocacy of women’s sports and wellness. Go Rams!
