This week at lab, our cadets were introduced to medical lanes.

Cadets received quick classes on Care Under Fire, Tactical Field Care, 9-Line, and medical trivia before putting their knowledge into action through hands-on training.

Building confidence, sharpening skills in order to take care of soldiers when it matters most.

Day 2 of FTX: land nav, patrol base ops, and plenty of reps in between.

At Range 4, cadets completed two daytime land navigation iterations, tested their skills again at night, and wrapped up with patrol base operations to sharpen the fundamentals.

Low, fast, and tactical.

Thursday’s lab introduced cadets to Individual Movement Techniques (IMTs), building the basics to move with confidence and purpose in a tactical environment. Learning these movements, cadets got their first look at what it takes to operate in the field.

On Friday, our cadets joined Poudre Fire Authority at Canvas Stadium for the 9/11 Stair Climb, honoring the first responders and civilians who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.

Each step served as a reminder of the courage, sacrifice, and selflessness shown that day. We climb in remembrance of the fallen and in honor of those who continue to serve.

Never Forget.

The past two weeks of lab have been all about building the fundamentals.

Cadets received introductory instruction on small arms and field craft, covering the basics of the M4, hooch building, camouflage, ruck packing, and field care and safety. Each lab gave cadets hands-on experience with skills they’ll continue to develop throughout the semester.
