The 2026 LEO Retreat was a fantastic time! Let’s take a quick look at how our three days were well spent.

On Tuesday, the first year SLP students and senior mentors explored the Coca-Cola Space Science Center, learning about ambiguity; SLP specifics; and agency opportunities!

On Wednesday, the group spent their morning with Feeding the Valley, packing and sorting food for the community. After, they learned about Oxbow Meadows and went on a team building scavenger hunt. Then, they visited with the residents of Thrive at Green Island. To close out the day, returning SLP students joined in for a Mario Kart tournament reflection at Second Story!

On Thursday, they visited United Way to learn about the work they do and meet CSU alumni who are making a positive impact in our community. The last stop on the retreat was to the W.C. Bradley Company where they learned about company’s commitment to their values rooted in Servant Leadership and their community connections.

We hope everyone had as much fun as we did!
Also, a HUGE thank you to the agencies that made this all possible and Lakeside Event and Retreat Center for our overnight accommodations! by @csuservantleadership

Servant Leadership in Oxford!

We had such an amazing and unforgettable experience!

We went on tours and learned so much about the wonderful city of Oxford including tours of University of Oxford, Oxford Brookes University, Chippie Townie Tour, and Ronald McDonald House Charity.

We experienced many museums, high tea, London, Hadestown at the West End’s Lyric Theatre, and so much more together.

We were able to learn and see how servant leadership is shown in England and in different organizations through our personal case study research. It is safe to say we learned a lot on our study abroad trip! by @csuservantleadership
