Unfortunately, the tracking dog found evidence that makes us believe that Tori is deceased. Our deepest condolences to her family who worked tirelessly to find her.
We would like to extend a HUGE thank you to Sean & Erica from Redcon One and Mike from Heetseekers for flying their drones to help search for Tori! 🚁 Your time, dedication, and efforts are truly appreciated.
A big thank you to Kelly from Lost Pet Search Dogs for bringing out her amazing dogs to help search for Tori. 🐾
And lastly, a heartfelt thank you to CTDGRV’s Jess for setting up cameras and Melanie for providing moral support, guidance, and encouragement throughout these difficult days. Your support means so much during such a stressful time.

🐾 A heartfelt reminder to keep your pets close and supervised.

Over the past couple of weeks, we have sadly lost several dogs to predators. Our hearts are with the families grieving their beloved companions.

We share this reminder with compassion, in the hope of helping protect another pet.

Please be especially vigilant at dawn and dusk, and make safety a priority every time your dog goes outside—even for a quick potty break.

🐾 Go outside with your dog and keep them on a leash. Stay close and attentive throughout their time outdoors.

🐾 Never leave pets outside unattended. A familiar backyard or fenced yard does not guarantee protection from wildlife.

🐾 Take precautions day and night. Please don’t assume that daylight or being near the house makes an unattended pet safe.

These losses are heartbreaking. Small, consistent precautions can help reduce the risk and bring our dogs safely back inside.

Please share this reminder with someone who loves a dog. ❤️

Education is Prevention. Prevention saves Lives.

🎉REUNITED: Butters was seen a few times this morning and Jess and Dave located him this morning. What a great recovery! We thought the dog’s leg was injured but it’s ok. He has a little limp. Dave did calming signals and Jess threw chicken towards the dog o distract him. Dave slowly moved towards Butters and Jess provided guidance. When Dave got close enough Butters tail wagged and his body shaked with joy that he was finally safe. Great job done by Dave and his family and friends, others who called in sightings and shared the post, and CTDGRV Jess, Tina, Jacque, and Carol. You are one very loved dog Butters. Wishing you a long and healthy life. taken in Watertown, Connecticut by @ctdgrv
