Another year, another blessing. Happy Birthday to me! Looking back on this past year, I’m filled with gratitude for the major accomplishments I had the opportunity to achieve. From Another year, another blessing. Happy Birthday to me! Looking back on this past year, I’m filled with gratitude for the major accomplishments we’ve achieved together. From receiving an Honorary Doctorate Degree from UCONN to working with Attorney Ben Crump and other Iconic Civil Rights Activists to secure justice for families nationwide, it has been a year of purpose. I’ve also been deeply energized by working with so many brilliant young people who are ready to change the world through civil rights activism.

I am so thankful to spend my days doing what I love—connecting with my community, inspiring others, and standing up for those who need it most. I pray for many more years of health, strength, and the opportunity to keep serving.
