Y’all, how about a wild #flashbackfriday with this wicked, not perfect use of the flambadou that I got from @ajscustomcookers
Rocked out some American Wagyu NY Strips and then decided to try out the flambadou for the first time by using some beef tallow that I got from @oldstationcraftmeatsia and melted the tallow over the sliced NY Strips and my @rosewoodblock Tomahawk Block! This was ridiculously rich and velvety! I need to break out the flambadou now that I know how to use it, lol.

Y’all, it’s finally the day!!! And it more than exceeds my wildest imagination and dreams! @ajscustomcookers and @chase_fabwork knocked this out of the park! My custom trailer, painted goldfinch and the Santa Maria, 8’ reverse flow smoker painted black! This is beautiful! I can’t wait to bring this back to Iowa and rock out some amazing cooks for y’all! From true, traditional bbq to live fire tomahawks, this can do it all! Y’all can help with naming it! Comment what ya think I should name her!

***UPDATE - SOLD***
Hey all my Arizona folks, @outlawbbqsmokers 2440 Patio Smoker for sale. Never had a fire in it. Comes with the outlaw patio cover, upgraded heavy rod cooking grates, stainless steel firebox cap and a stainless steel water pan. New these cost 4500 plus shipping and then the $775 in upgrades. It’s about a year and a half old, so will need a lil cleaning, just don’t have the time to do much cooking with fire right now. taken in Waddell, Az by @cubbiehawkbbq

Oh what a day! It was great to get back into cooking with fire yesterday at @fatoxfest for the first time in a year! Special thanks to @chilesandsmoke for having @bigswedebbq reach out to me to help cook in the VIP tent. Got to help out with him and @sami.vinotrece all day and it definitely got the juices running! Didn’t get near as much video or photos as I wanted, but got to finally meet @cmac.cooks @captainroncooks @fatkidsnax and meet some new friends, @laporkanostra @carne.fuego @delacruzcooks @leebonesfinemeats @fatoxbbq and the best damn empanada queen, @chetanitamiami with my absolute favorite bite I think I’ve had in a while! Also, got to see and talk to one of my favorite people in all of fire, @bigjavs_bbq and it’s always a pleasure to see him! Can’t wait to run it back! Sorry if I missed anyone! by @cubbiehawkbbq

Des Moines, it’s been fun for now! As I get a jumpstart on the next part of Jen & my life by heading to Phoenix to start my new position tomorrow. After about 40 years of living in central Iowa, this will be a huge change for us. So thankful for all of the friends that we have and will be moving away from. We will miss you all! Here’s to trying all of the new foods that Arizona has! by @cubbiehawkbbq

Wow, what a great Saturday to be invited back to @desmoinesscheels for their 2nd Annual Grillfest! To finish off the event, I got a few @certifiedangusbeef TriTips from the folks down at @thegoodbutcherdsm I seasoned em up with a combo of GPS from the #corncookers🌽 collection at the @iowabbqstore and a lil @heathrilesbbq Cajun Creole Garlic Butter. Threw em on Millie, my @ajscustomcookers smoker and then seared em off on the @meadowcreekwelding BBQ42. Sliced em up thin and threw em on some baguettes and topped with @alfrugoni Chimichurri Sauce! There wasn’t a bite left!

Yall, I’m selling my never had a fire in it @outlawbbqsmokers Patio smoker. It’s 24x42 and has an insulated box. These Outlaws are killing it on the comp circuits. I got it late last spring, brought it home and just never got around to firing it up. Asking $4500 for it, it has upgraded round bar grates, stainless firebox cap and the cover. This would cost close to $6000 if you were to get it from a dealer after these@upgrades, tax and freight. Let me know if you have any questions. Might be willing to trade for a real clean cabinet or direct heat cooker.

Yall, the brisket that I rocked out the other day….and had it rested in my @arcticzone Titan Pro Deep Freeze cooler. She turned out pretty darn well. Seasoned with a combo of @revolutionbbq Texas Beef and @spanglishasadero_official Ancho rubs and then smoked on my @traegergrills Ironwood XL. Sliced up with this @route83knives XL @bigmoecason slicer on my one of a kind @rosewoodblock XL Beef Block. by @cubbiehawkbbq
