🔔INTRODUCING: The Dazed Danish man, Daniel Bardell!!🔔

The year was 1934. Daniel was wandering around his village in Denmark when he came across this party. Intrigued by the name plastered on the glass, he decided to walk to the party.“LEGO? Hm…sounds like leg godt, which is Danish for play well! I have to go,” he exclaimed out loud. Struggling to push the door open (as it was a pull door, Daniel, in fact, did not know this), Daniel finally gave up and decided that he would, in fact, not be able to play well tonight, so he began heading home. Just as he turned around, the door swung open with the might of 1000 men, and the sounds of angelic music came shooting out of the party. Excitedly, he ran to the door, enchanted by the sounds, and then realized something: this door isn’t leading him to a party; it was taking him to another world! Even though he tried to stop, his legs wouldn’t allow him to, so through the door he went. Continuing to get hurled through the time-space continuum, hearing nothing but these voices singing songs like “Shambala” and “Heard it Through the Grapevine”, Daniel finally landed in the magical state of Colorado. Frantically, he ran around the state —yes, the entire state–and saw that everyone was wearing these weird things called “Ear Pods” and using the word “Limes” when referring to scooters, and realized he was in the year 2026. Accepting his fate that he would no longer return to Denmark, he began living his new life in Colorado and became ever more grateful for the mysterious LEGO door he had been sucked into. One day, he came across a group of guys, a wiley bunch that called themselves the buffoons. “They look like they know how to play well!” he thought, and with that he joined the buffoons, and always remembered that LEGOs are awesome. 🔔INTRODUCING: The Cinema Scholar, Santiago Garcia Chavez!!🔔

Tenor 2, Class of 2030

You see it everytime: a struggling artist just trying to make ends meet, and an actor who has a vision. Santiago didn’t just like directing anything, he liked directing serious things, of a silly matter. He worked tirelessly day in and day out to make it to the sunny streets of Hollywood, but nothing ever came to him like that fateful night with his friends that took him into the movie biz (short for business where I come from), that was until Joe Shmoe entered his life. Joe Shmoe wasn’t your ordinary… fella, he talked like he made charisma, he dressed to the nines, and he knew how to use it, this was Santiago’s golden goose. Santiago and Joe were unstoppable, making blockbuster after blockbuster, it seemed like the good times would never end. That was, until the incident. Who would’ve thought that suspending a rhino a story off the ground and having your star actor be under it would be a bad idea? At the time, no one, until the rigging snapped. In his final moments, Joe Shmoe said one last word to Santiago “Bu…….ffoons”. Taking a vow never to use rhinos again in the film industry and on a hiatus from directing, he looked up the buffoons on their expertly crafted website and found out that they were having auditions soon. To numb the pain of his best friend passing he joined the CU Buffoons, and has found new friendship and rekindled the flame of his silliness in the wacky and Zany world that is being a buffoon. by @cubuffoons

Are you interested in joining an A Cappella group at CU? Do you just love to sing but aren’t sure how to apply yourself after highschool? Not to fear, A Capella is here! We have 7 unique and amazing groups on campus, and one of them is the perfect fit for you!

Found one you love? Go to their page for more information on auditions!

Can’t pick?? Audition for every single one! We are a family of groups, meaning you can audition for any and all of the groups. If you are offered a spot, you will then have until September 11 to make your final decision and join your perfect ensemble. That means you can attend rehearsals for as many as you’d like to get a feeling for your match.

Why is Chip pouring milk? Because it’s our annual Older Americans Month Celebratory Lunch.

Today was something really special. Friends gathered, laughter filled the room, the CU Buffoons had everyone dancing, Chip brought his signature energy, and Miss Peggy, well, Miss Peggy reminded us all that the best stories and the best advice come with a little life experience behind them.

Moments like these are why we do what we do. Every May, Older Americans Month honors the contributions, wisdom, and impact that older adults bring to our communities every single day. This year’s theme, “Champion Your Health,” encourages older adults to stay active, engaged, and connected, and today was a perfect example of just that.

To every senior who joined us this afternoon, thank you. You are the heart of this community, and we are so grateful to share these moments with you.

We are excited to announce our senior concert!

April 25th from 7-9pm at old main chapel on campus. Free admission.

We’re sad to see these seniors leave but at least we can have one more good concert with them, love you guys!

What a great spring season we’ve had! The panther infested, super delayed red eye flights were totally worth it for our Puerto Rico spring break trip! Then right after that we performed in our spring concert and Acapalooza in a back to back showcase of music new and old. Check please am I right?
