25+ years later — and down about nine other BUFFoons… but the harmonies still work!

Jeremy Law was visiting Chicago this week before he and Kimberly take off to travel the world, so there was really only one thing to do: dust off his old BUFFoons solo from the late ’90s! “With or Without You” — this time with Jeremy, Scott Besaw and me, three-part harmony, one guitar… and considerably fewer college guys in suits.

Big thanks to Scott for having us at the open mic he hosts every Thursday night at The Getaway in Lincoln Square. If you’re in Chicago, go check it out — and Scott also teaches guitar and voice right next door at Old Town School of Folk Music.

Not a bad little CU BUFFoons reunion. Safe travels, Jeremy & Kimberly!

🎊 Yesterday, we celebrated the opening of Code Talker Hall, CU Boulder’s first new residence hall since 2019.

💬 Our new hall honors the Native American Code Talkers of World Wars I and II, whose courage, innovation and use of Native languages provided critical military communications that helped advance the Allied effort.

💛 Built on the historic site of VetsVille, which provided housing and community for veterans and their families following World War II, the hall also carries forward CU Boulder’s long-standing commitment to its Native American and veteran communities.

📸 Swipe through for moments from the ribbon-cutting ceremony, and learn more about Code Talker Hall at the @cuboulderlife link in bio.

Why is Chip pouring milk? Because it’s our annual Older Americans Month Celebratory Lunch.

Today was something really special. Friends gathered, laughter filled the room, the CU Buffoons had everyone dancing, Chip brought his signature energy, and Miss Peggy, well, Miss Peggy reminded us all that the best stories and the best advice come with a little life experience behind them.

Moments like these are why we do what we do. Every May, Older Americans Month honors the contributions, wisdom, and impact that older adults bring to our communities every single day. This year’s theme, “Champion Your Health,” encourages older adults to stay active, engaged, and connected, and today was a perfect example of just that.

To every senior who joined us this afternoon, thank you. You are the heart of this community, and we are so grateful to share these moments with you.

Yep! It's that time of the year... ACAPALOOZA is upon us!! What is Acapalooza you may ask. It is a showcase performance of all 7 CU Boulder a cappella groups. We 'compete' in a handful of silly categories. Winners are voted on by you, the audience. This year Acapalooza is hosted by On That Note @cu.onthatnote and the theme they picked is high school stereotypes. Come for silly costumes, stay for good music. No tix needed. CU THERE
