Give blood. Save lives. Support Sickle Cell Awareness.

Join us this Thursday, September 24 for the Sickle Cell Awareness Blood Drive at the Paul Robeson Cultural Center! ❤️

🗓️ September 24, 2026
⏰ 11:45 AM to 5:45 PM
📍 Paul Robeson Cultural Center
🎟️ Donors can receive a $15 Tango gift card, Rutgers Cinema ticket, or FREE T shirt!

Sickle cell disproportionately impacts the Black community, and blood donations can make a meaningful difference for individuals living with sickle cell disease. Come through, donate, and help us show what community care looks like. 🩸🤝🏾

Please note: The PRCC will be closed for regular operations on September 24 while we host the blood drive. taken in Paul Robeson Cultural Center, Rutgers University by @culturalcollaborative

The PRCC’s Free Breakfast Program continues next week as we celebrate Women’s History Month in partnership with Douglass Residential College.

Founded in 1918 as the New Jersey College for Women, Douglass is the only historically women’s college in the nation housed within a world-class public research university.

Douglass builds community on multiple levels: within its students, across Rutgers University, throughout New Brunswick, and within the global feminist community. Through mentorship, leadership development, and hands-on service opportunities, Douglass continues to model what feminist education can look like in action.

Stop by, grab breakfast, and learn what Douglass Residential College can do for you.
