August Dumpage. 1. Starting with a spontaneous trip to St. Albans, Chelsea and me nailing the 3, 2, 1, jump timing. 2. Max Fosh’s 5 million YouTube subscriber party on a ****** ******* boat. 3. Filming in a hotel which has THIS chamber in it. 4. Never seen so many colanders out in the wild. 5. Filming on the Caledonian Sleeper! New YouTube video coming. Sometime. 6. The sleeper’s club car, with the coolest bottle of gin. 7. I bought a suction cup for the camera filming in the sleeper cabin because it looked fun. 8. Edinburgh Festival Fringe! Got to see Toby Tarrant’s first stint up here! 9. Don’t worry foam fans, it’s a cider. 10. The funniest show I’ve seen in ages. Man Sings The Same Song Again Over and Over for an Hour. 10/10 silly. 11. Chelsea ended up on stage for the Adults Only Magic Show after catching the magic pickle. 12. TRAIN NERDS. My first glimpse of the new piccadilly trains in the wild. If you’re in London you’ll know that when these arrive in a few months, so will air-conditioning on the line. Perfect for December. 13. Parental visit to London and the theatre 14. That’s all. 15. Chelsea has decided summer is over (for an ad) 16. Spoiler this was not Aperol it was water with food colouring. Warning. We won RISING TRAVEL BRAND OF THE YEAR at The Travel Marketing Awards last night!!! 🤯 #TTMA Absolutely unexpected but so so chuffed. As we’re most known for the content we make, I’d be lying if I said that I didn’t get total imposter syndrome when entering big shiny professional awards like these. BUT I guess this is a lesson in how you don’t need the biggest budgets, or be part of a huge team to make an impact (ok but wow when did I become so LinkedIn girlie literate??! 💅😆) Firstly, thanks to @thetravelmarketingawards and @travelmarketinggroup for hosting last night, and @gailkennyrec for sponsoring our award. Thank you so much to all the wonderful brands who we have worked with, who have made us part of their travel marketing campaigns! We only say yes to products and companies we love and think you guys will love too - and so it’s always so fun to come up with brand ideas that look at home on our platforms. We’ve got £23.54 left for our £100 holiday to Łódź 🇵🇱 CAN WE DO IT??!!! It’s time to see in the £100 Holiday Challenge PART 3 🎉 💾 SAVE THIS as inspo for your next cheap city break and share with someone who you think would love this! ⚠️ WHAT’S THE £100 HOLIDAY CHALLENGE? ⚠️ You have £100 to cover: ✈️ Flights 🚌 Transfers 🏨 Accommodation 🍔 Food 🍺 Drinks 🎟️ Activities ALL 👏 OF 👏 IT 👏 🌍 WHERE DID YOU GO? 🌍 📍Łódź - pronounced ‘Woodge’ - it’s Poland’s third biggest city! 💰 COSTS 💰 After the flight, transfer, lunch, hotel, dinner, drinks and activities from Parts 1 and 2, we were left with £23.54 for another whole day of food, drink and activities… AND no hiccups on the flight home 😅 So here’s what we spent ⬇️ ☕ HOTEL COFFEE, GYM & SAUNA - FREE 📍 PURO Łódź Centrum We absolute rinsed everything the hotel gave us for free and snacked on our free macarons in the room and cups of coffee to keep us going. Honestly, for £27 each, this hotel just kept getting more ridiculous! 🥐 BRUNCH - £2.12 EACH 📍 Mąka Piekarnia After going here, we spotted so many. IS THIS THE POLISH GREGGS???! (It’s banging). 🚋 TRAM - 89P EACH God I love a city with cheap transport. We paid using contactless on the tram itself! 🎢 THE ACTIVITY - £12.91 EACH 📍 Hopa Lupa AKA Europe’s largest indoor amusement park 😳 The kids (both big and small) would LOVE THIS!!!!!! 🍕🍺 DINNER - £6.48 EACH 📍 Pizza Truck Garage We spent too long trampolining so missed the epic lunch deal (whoops!) but could still afford to share a pepperoni pizza and grab a pint. THOUGH, we could have also afforded a full margarita pizza each without the beer! 🚌 BUS TO THE AIRPORT - £1.13 EACH Leaving us with a grand total of… 💰 £0.01 😭👏 ONE. SINGLE. PENNY. Now all we had to do was survive the airport without Ryanair charging us extra for baggage… Thank God Ryanair are relaxed about that 👀 ✈️ SO STAY TUNED… And also… 📣 LET ME KNOW… Would you go to a huge indoor play area like this??!! What does a CHEAP HOTEL look like in the ‘Manchester of Poland’? 😅 £100 Holiday Challenge PART 2   💾 SAVE THIS and share with someone you want to stay here with! ⚠️ WHAT’S THE £100 HOLIDAY CHALLENGE? ⚠️ You have £100 to cover:  ✈️ Flights 🚌 Transfers 🏨 Accommodation 🍔 Food 🍺 Drinks 🎟️ Activities   ALL 👏 OF 👏 IT 👏 🌍 WHERE DID YOU GO? 🌍 Łódź - pronounced ‘Woodge’ 💰 COSTS 💰 After the flight, transfer and lunch from Part 1, we were left with £61.84. So here’s what we spent ⬇️ 
 🏨 THE HOTEL - £27 EACH 📍 PURO Łódź Centrum 💰 £54 a night We booked the cheapest room - the Classic - but managed to get a free upgrade to a Classic Queen!!! This was the same size of room, but had a better view and a few extra comforts like the robes! (I think this would have cost us around another £10 each if we had paid for it) 🎨 STREET ART TOUR - FREE

 ✨🌹 ROSE PASSAGE - FREE Also known as ‘Rosa’s Passage’, this was created by artist Joanna Rajkowska as a tribute to her daughter Róża, who survived a rare eye cancer 😭 🛍️ MANUFAKTURA - FREE

An old textile factory complex turned mega shopping complex! And don’t forget you can claim your tax back if you shop here…   🥔 DINNER - £7.46 EACH 📍Przyjemność - Tiramisu&Vino 
 The lunch menu runs until 6pm we were just about able to make it work for dinner!! There’s LOADS of lunch deals in the city, by the way, so a good hack could be to go all out at lunch and have something lighter for dinner.
 🍹🍺 GLASS OF FIZZ - £3.84 📍Spółdzielnia   My very full glass of ‘frizzante’ set me back £3.84 (I can’t remember James’ beer cost, but it was less than mine!). This bar was pretty trendy, and so I think you could deffo spend even less than this! 💸 HOW MUCH DO YOU HAVE LEFT? 💸 There’s £23.54 left for another whole day of food, drink and activities - and to get us back to the UK! 📣 LET ME KNOW… What you make of the hotel!! The £100 holiday challenge is BACK and this time to… 🥁 👀 Please tell me some of you have heard of this place before!! 🙈 💾 SAVE THIS and share it with someone who you wanna go on your own cheap adventure with!! So let’s get into it… ⚠️ WHAT’S THE £100 HOLIDAY CHALLENGE? ⚠️ It’s exactly what it sounds like! You have £100 to cover:    ✈️ Flights 🚌 Transfers 🏨 Accommodation 🍔 Food 🍺 Drinks 🎟️ Activities   Yep. ALL of it 👀 📆 HAVE YOU DONE IT BEFORE? ⚠️ 📆   Yes, three times before! My first was a couple of years ago in Tirana, then I went to Copenhagen (!!) and Bucharest and filmed my £100 holidays for This Morning. But this time, I have to do things differently because I’m taking with me… SNOBBY JAMES! @cumbrianjames So I knew that not only did it have to be cheap, it also had to be bloody good. 🌍 SO WHERE DID WE END UP? 🌍 After much deliberation, we ended up in…
 📍Łódź, Poland 🇵🇱 And yep, it’s pronounced ‘Woodge’ - WHUDAFUNKIT 💰 WHAT DID WE SPEND ALREADY? 💰 FLIGHT ✈️ £34 return I won’t lie, the destination plus it’s cheap bus into town is exactly the reason I chose this! TRANSFER 🚌 £1.13 for 40 mins on the bus A taxi would have cost around £7 but that would have blown the budget 😅   LUNCH 🍲 £3.03 each at Łodziak Bar Mleczny - a Polish Milk Bar but with a modern edge 🇵🇱 And FYI, the dumplings were slightly more than the soup so we split the cost between two, but the soup is the cheapest option here at just £2.43!   💸 MONEY LEFT   After flights, transport and lunch… we’ve got £61.84 remaining 
 Can we actually make it through the rest of the trip without going over budget?! 
Well next, I’m showing you:   🏨 The STUNNING hotel (we actually couldn’t believe it??) 🌆 What free activities look like 🍽️ How we managed to rustle up a hot dinner 🍺 And maybe even treat ourselves to a wine!
