✨October events ✨

As we enter the dark half of the year, I’m so excited to share my first events of Autumn, coming in October.

Friday 30th October 6:30-7:45pm
‘Communitea’ will include a tea ceremony circle and distance reiki, leading into self guided journaling and oracle card pulls. Hosted with Claire from @lunaholisticcare at the gorgeous new @ami.yoga.wellness studio in Cottingham.

Saturday 31st October 09:30-13:00
‘The Witch’s Hearth’ is a half day, deeper dive into Samhain rituals, movement, circle and celebration. Hosted and led by Katie from @wildthingyogaandwellness with a @cuppa.kindness tea ceremony in Cherry Burton.

On 31st October, as we cross the threshold of Samhain and the wheel turns, we will gather in Circle for a slow, rich morning of ritual, remembrance, embodiment and sisterhood.

A space to tend the places in us that have been silenced.
To honour those who came before us.
To shed old skins.
To meet the wild, instinctive woman beneath all the ways we have learned to make ourselves smaller, quieter, easier to hold.

We’ll move through yoga and somatic practice, breathwork, journalling, seasonal craft and ritual, ancestral healing and the tending of the witch wound — exploring the inherited fear around being visible, powerful, intuitive, different, outspoken and deeply ourselves.

And woven through the morning will be a beautiful plant medicine tea ceremony with Kitty from @cuppa.kindness , working with rose, hawthorn and rosehip — plants of the heart, protection, boundaries, grief, courage and deep autumnal nourishment. Kitty holds such tender, magical spaces, and I’m so happy to be creating this one together.

This teapot was gifted to me years ago by my sister in law who knew I was obsessed with tea.

It has become a tool I use at many of my events. Recognisable to many as “Kitty’s magic teapot”.

Before today, despite using it hundreds of times, I never really noticed the words “In a world of my own” written on it.

When Holly asked us to photograph the item we brought to the @roots.and.tales Storybook workshop, I read this text with fresh eyes. I felt a bubbling of happiness that without planning to, I have created a tea business of my own, where people tell me they leave my events feeling lighter than when they arrived.

Reading the teapot felt like a reassuring message that when we slow down for a mindful moment, we notice.

Last Friday, Kitty from @cuppa.kindness delivered a beautifully moving #TreeStories workshop at @rewildingyouth, East Hull, to a wonderful group of participants.

Exploring the traditional history, uses and symbolism of our arboricultural friend, the Hawthorn, before honouring the tree with a hand-blend of Sacred circle tea 🫖

Thank you for such a beautiful session Kitty, to Rewilding Youth for hosting us, and for the @heyvolunteering support!

The most delicious morning. 🌾☀️🌊

Infused with the energies of Lughnasadh, the dog days of summer, and the afterglow of the full moon.

Together we gathered as the sunshine broke through the clouds, down by the sea for blissful breathwork.

Then into the woods for wild yoga, breath and meditation, held so lovingly by the land.

Nourishing ourselves with community, the elements, and a totally scrumptious breakfast.

Then into the faerie glade for plant medicine, heart expansion and tears of joy, guided so tenderly and beautifully, as always, by @cuppa.kindness as we sipped her ceremonial blend in sacred circle. ✨

Hag stone hunting and North Sea swims to close.

Feeling deeply abundant.

Cup (and heart) to the brim… and overflowing. 🤍

Thank you all so, so much for bringing your hearts, your laughter and your presence.

We said this would be the last one of the summer… but maybe we could just squeeeeeze in one more little adventure before the seasons begin to turn…? 🌾🌊🍃 taken in Danes Dyke by @cuppa.kindness
