On 31st October, as we cross the threshold of Samhain and the wheel turns, we will gather in Circle for a slow, rich morning of ritual, remembrance, embodiment and sisterhood.

A space to tend the places in us that have been silenced.
To honour those who came before us.
To shed old skins.
To meet the wild, instinctive woman beneath all the ways we have learned to make ourselves smaller, quieter, easier to hold.

We’ll move through yoga and somatic practice, breathwork, journalling, seasonal craft and ritual, ancestral healing and the tending of the witch wound — exploring the inherited fear around being visible, powerful, intuitive, different, outspoken and deeply ourselves.

And woven through the morning will be a beautiful plant medicine tea ceremony with Kitty from @cuppa.kindness , working with rose, hawthorn and rosehip — plants of the heart, protection, boundaries, grief, courage and deep autumnal nourishment. Kitty holds such tender, magical spaces, and I’m so happy to be creating this one together.

Head to the usual place to book your place 🧡

A lovely day spent at the Storybook Retreat Day with Holly at @roots.and.tales 🍃📸

Set in the gorgeous surroundings of @clayfieldfarmevents (somewhere Holly actually first discovered when photographing our very first @elevatedsoulescapes) it was the perfect place to step away from the pressures of social media and look at creating content in a different way… without the ick!

I picked up so many useful, practical tips to take away, and it was lovely to spend the day with so many like-minded people (including some of our lovely @heywellbeingcollective members 🤍).

I even said to someone “I can’t wait to create some content now” something I don’t think many business owners say very often! 😂

Thanks Holly for such a lovely and inspiring day! ✨

Some days you just have to pinch yourself.

Today I left home at 9am — parcels dropped, Nova delivered safely to Mum’s — and drove three hours to Birmingham, to stand in the space that will be mine next February. I’m one of 18 SBS winners who’ll be at Spring Fair with my own stand, a chance gifted through Theo Paphitis. It still hasn’t quite sunk in.

I wanted to see it all for myself first — the arriving, the parking, the check-in, and most importantly, how exhibitors set up their stands.

I got there just after 1pm and the next thing I knew it was 4pm. Three hours gone in a flash — every single person generous with their time and advice. I left with good notes, a head full of ideas — and totally inspired for February.

I met three of the other 17 along the way: Kat @saffirechocolate Imani @moon_and_bear_ and Ella @ellajostudio . I also saw my friend Nick @adhockhomeware whose stand I’d spotted on the exhibitor list this morning and couldn’t resist going over to say hello.

It started ten years ago, hand stamping in my little flat in New Zealand. In 2019, SOZO was born in my bedroom in Devon — and now this little business is taking me towards a dream I didn’t even know I had. Who knows where it’ll go next... but right now, I can’t wait for February.
