Parts of HTMSWY: Stefania Zanetti and Matteo Bellomo are still-life photographers based in Milan. When Stefania's sensory gaze blends with Matteo's physical one, the impressions become tangible, take shape, and stories are composed. Usually the idea emerges, Stefania writes the emotions, Matteo synthesises them in images. by @curatelaplacebo

Parts of HTMSWY: Where we left off is by Francesco Fazzi (1996, Lecce) a visual artist based in Venice, where he also lives and works. Using a practice rooted in performance and animal studies, his research investigates instances of failure that can be found in our contemporary world. Failure is taken as a possibility of escape and subtraction from socio-emotional impositions. by @curatelaplacebo

Parts of HTMSWY: Enrico Boccioletti (Pesaro,1984) is a transdisciplinar artist based in Milan. Through his works he questions structures of empathy existing in-between and beyond verbal communication, and the ghostly forces embedded in informational turmoil. Comprehending the threshold of the physical with the nonmaterial, his practice is detached from visuality and includes the possibility of failure as a means to address change and multiplicity. by @curatelaplacebo

Parts of HTMSWY: Raffaela Naldi Rossano (Naples, 1990) is a London trained artist, who lives and works in Naples. Through her practice, she delegates the construction of self, other and ourselves, to the field of perception and interpersonal relationship, with a sensitivity to the dimension of remembrance, personal and collective memory, imagination and conscious matter. Through the traces of memory deposited in objects and materials, she interweaves relationships between them and the individuals. by @curatelaplacebo

Parts of HTMSWY: Nuvola Ravera (Genoa, 1984) is an artist trained between Milan, Genoa and Venice, who lives and works in Genoa. Her practice stems from a doubtful approach to the dominant cultural and social norms in communicative, linguistic and perceptive systems, favouring ephemeral material formalisation. One of her recent research fields concerns the aspect of care and healthcare, within which she develops a body of work in continuous evolution and mutation. by @curatelaplacebo

Parts of HTMSWY: Meeting the unsaid, the non smell, what remains and goes away is the transcribed conversation with Matteo Dalzovo, (Negrar (VR), 1996) a student currently enrolled in the Master's programme in Applied Cognitive Psychology at Padua University. Since January 2021, following covid-19, he is affected by a form of parosmia, an alteration in the perception of odours. by @curatelaplacebo

Parts of HTMSWY: Yoann Van Parys (Etterbeek, 1981) is an artist based in Bruxelles. In his works he searches for a space where word, image and matter, individual and collective imagination can co-exist. His recent practice deals with textual matter, in particular with text intended to be displayed in various exhibition contexts. His texts are hybrids between poetry, anecdotes, sayings, travel notes and are characterised by a humorous, sometimes childish note, remaining profound despite their lightness and irony by @curatelaplacebo

Parts of HTMSWY: Racing Horse by Francesco Fazzi was inspired by an autobiographical event: a fake branded perfume, purchased  from Neapolitan retailers, seemed to become a vehicle of misfortune and bad luck every time it was sprayed. The fake logo on the perfume bottle is a running horse, an icon that is linked in the artist's visual memory to a superstitious ritual: the feast of San Raffaele. On the occasion of this patronal celebration, it was considered to be auspicious for children to ride a pony around the city. This propitiatory ritual is visually connected with the Racing Horse perfume, sparking a good/bad luck short circuit. by @curatelaplacebo
