I’ve been quiet about this, but today it’s time to get loud... Allow me to introduce you to BOOTH ONE CREATIVE.

For almost two years now, I’ve been building a marketing agency for food & beverage brands with my life partner Katie Kurlyandchik and our business partner Carolyn Chin Watson. In the past, I’ve launched a few ventures very publicly — only for them to fizzle out as my attention shifted elsewhere. So this time, I did the opposite: I got to work first. Since September 2023, we’ve been building a meaningful portfolio for some of the area’s most beloved brands, assembling a team that gels, and creating systems that deliver results — essentially proving to myself that this is a sustainable business while fighting the imposter syndrome that comes with changing industries. SuperCrisp is one of my favorite Fast Food spots in Detroit 🙌🏾 Located in Midtown right next to @imanoodles serving up a crazy fusion of American Comfort Food & Japanese Flavors 👌🏾 SuperCrisp hit me with a feast of wings , handhelds , and sides I could barely walk when I left 😮‍💨🤧😂 and they got a daily Happy Hour from 2pm - 5pm 🕔 when you buy a sandwich , hot dog , or salad and get fries + a drink for free 🍟🥤❗️ some of my favorites were the Wasabi Burger , Fish Nuggets , Crispy Chicken Sandwich , Hoisin Wings , Umami Fries & Funnel Cake Fries just to name a few 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 the next time you pull up tell them SHEEFY sent you ✌🏾

SHEEFY EATS 🍽️ @burgerbattledet at @easternmarket 🍔🍔🍔

I was a Judge at the Burger Battle in Eastern Market this year and I had some of the best burgers I’ve ever have in my life 🙌🏾 Shoutout to all the finalist but @burgerfi came out on top 🏆🏆🏆 Some of my personal favorites were the burger from @fritabatidos @kozylounge 👌🏾 make sure you make it to the next Burger Battle and bring a friend with you I had a great time 🙌🏾✌🏾❤️ by @curlyhandshake

I’ve been a fan of Street Beet for a while following their 100% plant based pop ups over the years (I’m a Crunchwrap junkie 🤧😂) and I’m hyped to see them with their location in Corktown 🙌🏾💐 They have a main menu as well as rotating themed cuisine from time to time , when I pulled up the theme was “Olive Guardin” 🍝🍝🍝 I was amazed everything was plant based ! Some of my favorites were the meatballs , chicken parm , calamari , bread sticks , as well as the milkshake 🙌🏾 make sure to pull up and tell them Sheefy sent you ✌🏾

If your algorithm is anything like mine, you may have seen the trend calling Slavs “Winter Latinos.” Our cultures are remarkably similar in many respects.

To celebrate that closeness, I’m joining Chef @javierbardauil by the fire at @puma_detroit for a special one-night-only dinner takeover on March 24 we’re dubbing DACHA FIRE 🔥.

The food isn’t purely Slavic, as it draws from the post-Soviet diaspora with a couple dishes hailing from the Caucuses, but even these dishes have become culinary staples in Slavic culture.

Reservations are required for this set 5-course menu and can be made at the link in my bio.

Check it:

I. Oliv’ye (Salad Russe) - The iconic potato salad invented at the Hermitage restaurant in Moscow.

II. Mushroom Borsch - A deeply savory, ruby-red beet and mushroom broth. Served with house-cultured smetana and Lithuanian black bread.

III. Lamb Cheburek - Crimean Tatar street food. A crescent pastry stuffed with spiced ground lamb, fried crispy in Puma’s beef tallow. Served with crunchy sauerkraut.

IV. Pork Shashlik - Flame-grilled 48-hour onion-marinated pork shoulder skewers. Served with rice, tomato-onion salad, and spicy mustard.

V. Black Currant & Toasted Sunflower Ice Cream Vanilla soft serve draped in Polish black currant syrup and toasted sunflower seeds.

$65/pp + tax & gratuity. No modifications or substitutions on this one.
