3 Bathroom Upgrades I am SO GLAD we splurged on!! It's so stressful during the decision phase... but now that we've lived with our new bathroom - these are the 3 I couldn't live without. Comment "RENO" to get all the details and see my before and after photos.

Thanks to our longtime home partners @customonehomesmn and this is our third room with the custom-made artistry of @mercurymosaics! So cool! What's your favorite upgrade? #ad taken in Maple Grove, Minnesota by @customonehomesmn

This Mendota Heights remodel turned a once-constrained kitchen into an open, connected gathering space, removing structural columns and introducing warm white oak, custom cabinetry, a statement waterfall island, and thoughtful details to work with how the homeowner lives today.

And this is just one space you can tour this weekend only during Remodelers Showcase.

This weekend, explore reimagined kitchens, transformed main levels, refreshed bathrooms, whole-home renovations, and more—all in person—all for free. It’s a chance to see what’s possible within an existing home and meet the remodelers bringing these transformations to life.

The Remodelers Showcase is happening Oct. 2-4 from noon to 6 p.m. in the Twin Cities and noon to 4 p.m. in Rochester. Browse the spaces & plan your Remodelers Showcase weekend at ParadeofHomes.org.

This is what happens when a family dreams big and we get to build it. ✨ Every finish, every detail tells their story, designed around their life on the lake.

Watch a custom one home come to life on the shores of Deer Lake, WI. Every stage captured from the ground up, and from the sky above.

Here’s what makes this home unforgettable:
🛶 A private boat house on the water
🍷 Custom wine storage
🧖 A dry-heat sauna
🎬 Game lounge and media room made for gathering
🛏️ A bunk room the kids will never want to leave
🌅 And a vaulted 4-season porch framing those lake views year-round

Proof that an underused porch can become one of the best spaces in the house. 🦋

This Minnetonka screened-in porch was collecting dust, dirt and bugs, and the homeowners wanted more from the space.

So @customonerenovation transformed it into a three-season sleeping porch with new windows, custom ceiling draping, Italian wallpaper, integrated lighting and details that feel completely personal to the home.

Now it works as a cozy retreat, an extra place for guests and a space the homeowners can enjoy for more of the year.

Swipe to see where it started. →

This used to be a screened porch. 🦋

Now? It’s a three-season sleeping porch that’s equal parts cozy, functional and unexpected.

We transformed this Minnetonka space into an extension of the home, adding more protection from the elements, natural light and plenty of personality along the way.

@mattjmuenster is giving us a quick look at the finished space. More of this transformation coming soon. 👀

PRIMARY BATHROOM REVEAL: we tore our bathroom apart after 20 years in our home and rebuilt the hotel spa bath we wanted for the empty nester chapter of life! We did it with @customonehomesmn - and there are so many elements we love! Ana, our Custom One Renovation designer helped guide us to a beautiful custom made vanity with heated floors, and I wanted the showstopping handmade tile from @mercurymosaics! Watch for a glimpse of the before at the end - we’ll be posting more of what we learned here and at @customonehomesmn !! taken in Maple Grove, Minnesota by @customonehomesmn

Here’s what nobody tells you about the homes you can’t stop screenshotting: it’s never the furniture. It’s the layers… texture on texture, statement tile, the one risk someone was brave enough to take.

And knowing where to take that risk and where to invest is the entire game. So we’re settling it!

Join us for Textures + Textiles, the next event in our Design Series:

🗓️ Sept 23 · 4–6 PM

No painting. No staining. No maintenance. Just a deck that looks this good, season after season.

The decking? @timbertech so all that upkeep you’re dreading…gone.

And if you thought it was too late to get started this year, think again. We’re still booking outdoor living projects into fall and we’d love to bring your space to life. 🍂
