POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

The Brooklyn Horror Film Festival is upon us! We're happy to announce our third year sponsoring the fest and it's many new filmmakers showcasing their horror movies. And this year, there'll be a very special screening of Larry Fessenden's monster opus TRAUMA. Which we had the gruesome task of taking through Color (with @crolaroid) all the way to delivery. Check @brooklynhorrorfest for more info and screenings 😱 by @cutandmeasure

Nothing beats a recommendation. So, we were thrilled Disney recommended us to the fantastic American Horror Story team to help them deliver season 13. Now available on Hulu, just in time for our favorite holiday: Halloween. taken in DUMBO, Brooklyn by @cutandmeasure

A true gem on the horizon. Coming this October via our friend at NEON, William Greaves' Once Upon a Time in Harlem. We recommend a cocktail at Alamo for this one.

It's coming...

Larry Fessenden's final chapter of his quadrilogy works as a standalone or series finale. TRAUMA or, Monsters All will be premiering at Fantasia Festival this July! As always, we couldn't be more excited to share another gruesome collaboration with Larry and the Glasseye Team (Gaby, Sharif, and Co).

Back in December, we were connected to a filmmaking Team in production of a feature film. They needed desks and an office to produce their documentary. Of course, we said of course. Six months later, this film will be the closing night film of the Tribeca Film Festival. Alicia Keys: Girl from Hell's Kitchen.

As Cut + Measure turns 10 years old, we'll always maintain a special connection with the films made in our own backyard: New York City. This was one of our favorite collaborations yet with director @_one9_ and the Everwonder Studios team. An exceptional group of filmmakers who we had a chance to watch build this film piece by piece, day by day.

And then in the end, the post production.

Wrapping up work on a very special project over at Ellis Island. To see the many names of those who came to America (including the family members of our C+M Team) in search of a new life, and to think how hard the journeys must have been - to leave loved ones and set sail - was truly inspiring. It'd be hard to imagine a film industry without the stories of every day people doing remarkable things, all to call America their home.

The 2026 Oscar nominations are in! And we can't be excited enough for our friends at NEON Rated for picking up a Best Picture nomination for The Secret Agent, two Best International Feature nominations for the fantastic Sirat and The Secret Agent. C+M has been working with NEON this past year providing sound mix and trailer editorial. And to be part of this little section of post production, in helping these films get the attention and recognition they deserve, is thrilling.

Now let's see who wins. taken in DUMBO, Brooklyn by @cutandmeasure

Nothing beats a good trailer. If you have ever been behind the scenes of trailer creation, you'll see teams of writers, producers, animators and editors, all working together to give you, the viewer, the best first impression possible. And it's been really fun for us lately sound mixing so many great projects that we can't wait to see in theaters. So please enjoy ARCO, by @neonrated

We can't say enough about Olivia Zimmerman's Destined to be Queen. This was a very special project for us, as C+M not only provided all post production services for the film, but we were proud and thrilled to hop on as producing partners. It's something we feel strongly about in this ever changing film environment: Finding any way possible to support our filmmakers and ensure stories such as Brianna's - a junior boxer who struggles with bullying, only to turn herself in to an absolute boxing machine - are told.

Destined to be Queen will be making it's New York Premier this fall at DOCNYC.

Once in a while, a film comes through our studio that we, as a Team, can't stop talking about.

Predators is that film. Directed by David Osit, this documentary film is an exploration of the crossroads where entertainment meets reality, and the true stories that lie in its wake. Centering around the widley popular TV series To Catch A Predator, we find ourselves (as an audience) constantly considering the responsibility of media when human life comes at a cost.

Please follow @predatorsfilm for all information on theatrical screenings happening this month and beyond.

Premiering at this year's Tribeca Film Festival and airing via ESPN on June 30, we're incredibly excited to announce EMPIRE SKATE. Directed by Josh Swade, Empire Skate is a journey through the skateboarding scene of the 90s, culminating, and seemingly ending, with the birth of Supreme.

As always, it's extra special to work on a film where the story being told takes place right in our backyard 💪
