Very excited to share my first VO credit for IFC/Shudder, the audio description for This Is Not A Test! Released in theatres Feb. 20. Thank you to @andre_4000 and the team @cutandmeasure for this wonderful opportunity!

Image description: A giant bloody hand on a bright red background reaches upward out of a pool of blood. A group of five miniature people, some carrying backpacks, walk on the palm of the hand. The words: “School’s Out for the Zombie Apocalypse” and “This Is Not A Test” appear in bright yellow text.

I’m excited to share the official trailer for Destined to be Queen! With its world premiere at @docnycfest
At its heart, Destined to Be Queen is about visibility. It’s about creating room for young women, particularly Latinas, to see themselves reflected on screen in a powerful and positive way. Representation matters deeply, and through this film I hope to contribute to a broader conversation about inclusion, resilience, and the many ways women continue to break barriers both in sport and in society.

Thankful for @togethxr for believing in this film and supporting female athletes like @briannaalers_ because “everyone watches women’s sports”!

Thank you to everyone who made this film possible:
In association with: @togethxr

‘Destined to Be Queen’ is at @idfafestival this week! It means a lot to be recognized among such an incredible slate of films in this year’s Docs for Sale program and I’m excited for this to mark the first step in bringing the film to an international market. Stay tuned for more!

I’m excited to finally announce that my short film ‘Destined to be Queen’ will have its World Premiere at @docnycfest this November!

This film tells the story of Brianna Alers, who began boxing at age 11 to overcome bullying. Six years later, she’s training for the USA Junior Olympics, and inspiring other young girls along the way.

I’m also thrilled to partner with @togethxr on this film—to help amplify the voices of women in sports, and in this case, shine a light on Latina athletes. These stories are so important to tell—we need more people watching women’s sports, and more opportunities for women to thrive in them.

I couldn’t have made this film without my incredible team:
Producers: @the_urban_outdoorsman , @jonathasnazareth
Director of Photography: @jonathasnazareth
Editor: @gabrielgaurano
Composer: @spacey__kay
Post Production Services: @cutandmeasure
Color: @cvniederhaus
Sound Mix: Jeff Seelye
Assistant Editor: @sgdegreen

Get your tickets at DOC NYC!
November 14th — IFC Theater, 2:00pm

We stopped by our friends at Cut + Measure for a morning coffee with founder Alex Laviola, where the conversation turned to daily rituals, neighborly record collections, and how DUMBO sets the tone for creativity and business.

From cycling through Brooklyn Bridge Park with binoculars in hand to starting the day with a few quick rounds of Nintendo, Alex’s routine strikes the balance between focus and play. A reminder that inspiration often comes when we carve out time for both.
